I am between a 3-4 rating because you get the taste of pineapple but it tasted like a mouth full of baking soda. I was trying to avoid the burning you get from spearmint toothpastes while still keeping fluoride. I think for the price I can get hello for cheaper and better taste. I don’t believe any of the market toothpastes have passed lead safety anyways

While I'm not sure there's a need for pineapple toothpaste, it has a fabulous taste and offers a different tooth-brushing experience. I got tired of the same old, same old minty paste eons ago, but toothpaste flavors are hard to find. I'd never seen (or even imagined) pineapple paste, but it sounded tasty. In truth, it is tasty, and the addition of mint is surprisingly refreshing. This Dr. White's Bright Whites Pineapple paste is a nice change of pace!The toothpaste comes in a box and with a foil-sealed tube for safety. It contains fluoride (which I like) and has some good natural ingredients. One thing it doesn't list is actual pineapple, just pineapple flavoring, so the claims about pineapple and its cleaning powers are overblown at best. I haven't used it long enough to speak to the whitening, but it is an effective and fresh tooth cleaner, and my mouth feels fresh after I use it. Finally, this is also expensive (why have toothpastes gotten so pricey?) and at $10 costs more than even most high end pastes. Of course, only you can say how much you're willing to pay for pineapple fresh breath. It's a good option, and I'll probably try the cherry someday when it's on sale.

Brightens as advertised.

My first experience using this toothpaste made my mouth feel as though I’d just gotten my teeth professionally cleaned! I was AMAZED!! So much so that I kept running my tongue across my teeth! My mouth felt fresh and clean! Moreover, and just a few days of using it, I also noticed my teeth were a bit brighter. So run, don’t walk, so you too can up your smile game!

I had high hopes for this toothpaste, but I didn’t really like it. The taste is kind of odd—not fresh like most toothpastes, and it left a strange aftertaste. It also didn’t give that super clean feeling after brushing. I appreciate that it has fluoride and xylitol, but there are much better options out there. Wouldn’t buy again

Was excited to try something other than mint toothpaste. I don't know if it was a packaging error or what but it was like Listerine in toothpaste form. Extremely weird NyQuil like flavor and intense, I mean INTENSE alcohol burning sensation. Disappointing. No pineapple to be found, only burning.

Ok so I ordered this because I 100% hate mint -I find it to be the most nasty vile flavor on the planet (coffee being a close second). A lot of the other reviews said that it was not minty. Let me tell you, although it is less minty than, say, regular mint flavored toothpaste, it is still very minty. Almost worse because it's like drinking orange juice after brushing your teeth... except pineapple. I will give it a stars though because it does really whiten teeth a lot, and they feel a lot cleaner after than regular toothpaste, even after the first use. So that part was pretty amazing. I just cannot get over the mint part 🤮
