Purchased this camera in 2016 for our honeymoon to St Lucia as I wanted record the thrilling activities we had like Treetop Adventure park with the zip lines through the jungle canopy or snorkelling at different location in the Caribbean Sea, etc. It worked fine for the first couple of occasions then when we had a snorkelling tour at the Lovers` Arch (where one of the scenes of The Pirates of the Caribbean with Johnny Depp was recorded) the waterproof case leaked and fried the camera and the micro sim. I was extremely angry as the following day we were going on a Sea Trek Adventure Helmet Diving Tour.We contacted Veho and they were absolutely amazing! Their customer services are one I`ve never dealt with before! They were extremely helpful and understanding. They offered me a full refund and a new camera.I tested the new camera last week during a family holiday to Tenerife. I used the camera both for snorkelling and scuba diving. The footage the camera recorded is stunning! Crystal clear picture and with a new anti-mist pad (included in the box) it`s not misting up at all! I was absolutely amazed with the quality of the product!The only tiny negative about it is this: 1080 @ 60 fps recording is a bit juddery. To overcome the issue: all I had to do is to reduce it down to 1080 @ 30 fps and, as I mentioned it already, the quality of the recording is just amazing!Underwater stills: @ 12M the pictures are stunning! That`s all I can say about this. Stunning.Software/application: simple to use, easy to connect to my iPhone. Brilliant!This was my first action cam and was thinking/researching for a long time whether to buy a GoPro or a Muvi K-2 NPNG. For much cheaper price this product offers a far superior quality. Plus if anyone reads up comments on the very poor GoPro after-sales...well, Veho is far superior again!I can`t praise the product and the customer services enough. I do very highly recommend this product to anyone having the same dilemma of which action cam to buy.

I’ve bought this in 2017. Tried it a few times outside - all was good. Then for a year it was not used, lying in a provided case. And lately I tried to record a video at home and on the video I’ve heard a high pitch static noise which never stops. I’ve looked through the old videos - it is there too, you just nearly can’t hear it when there are a lot of sounds around.So I contacted Veho customer service. After each email I had to wait for a week at least, one of the answers took 24 days. And in the end they didn’t request it to be sent for a check, they didn’t give any advice apart from formatting SD card. As soon as they knew that the 1 year warranty is over, they said that they can’t help.I understand that after the warranty I will have to pay for a fix. But they didn’ even gave me that. Useless support and now I have useless camera at home.So if you are looking for a reliable action camera - this is not the one. And not only because of the camera itself, but because of a really inexistent customer support.

I've had my camera since May 2017 and its worked really quite well apart from; using it in the waterproof case is very problematic. the case fogs up even with the use of the small moisture absorbent paper tabs provided and you have to switch the camera on before enclosing it in its case and it stays switched on until the battery dies or you open the case and switch it off your self. You can stop/start recording while its enclosed but not switch off.This is really pretty lame, I've no idea how other similar cameras compare in this respect but regardless, it's a definite negative in my book. Then again,The case is very definitely waterproof mind you, I've used it to about 10 meters down,you just can't see anything through the fog!Only other issue so far has been an odd issue (to me anyway) whereby the camera was recording for only a few minutes and then stopping recording, in spite of a full battery and empty sd card. I tried formatting the card but the problem persisted. I thought the camera was goosed but about 5 mins online chat to amazons tech support appears to have sorted it out with a simple reset to factory settings, as suggested by the Amazon tech advisor.So 5 stars for Amazons tech support but only 4 for the camera or specifically; the waterproof case!

So far everything OK. Other posters have covered the somewhat counter-intutive use of buttons and the diffuculty in determining what mode it is in, when inside the waterproof case. I guess with sufficient practice everything will work out OK. Cost-benefit ratio is definitely extremely good when considering the box and everthing that comes with the camera.

Average quality despite it's 1080p capabilities. Sound recording isn't at an acceptable level if you wanted this to record moments (I wore this during a wedding as a ring bearer and you could barely pick up any of the sound of me, or the closest people around me).

I bought this camera here in Amazon, but it had some problem that it would turn on, so I return it back. I manage to buy other much cheaper although in second hand in a famous auctions website and is working perfectly. It does video, photos, timelapse.

Perfect and cheaper alternative to the go pro.Unfortunately not 4K but 1080 is suffice and also doesn't rinse your memory card

Great camera with loads of mounts in a nice case too at competitive price.Love the time-lapse function at varying intervals.

Very good quality. Very Pleased. Yet to try out properly, waiting holiday in march.

Superb camera and value for money package! Who needs 4k anyway and this has all you need to take great videos!

This is great value, compared to other brands, as comes with fittings, video film footage looks great on HD TV.
