The casserole is baking. You have children to care for. The phone rings. Then you smell burned food. When you have other chores to do while food is cooking, use a dependable timer to tell you when your casserole is ready to serve. Just set this easy-to-use timer on a shelf in your kitchen. When you need to use it, wind the timer and then set it to the time you need, up to 60 minutes. Take care of those other chores, and in the meantime, wait for the loud bell to ring. Turns off by itself.

Kitchen Timer
The timer arrived quickly. It has a loud ticking sound which is what I wanted so I know it's still going. The ringer is loud and long indicating it has finished. I like that. Time will tell if it lasts. The raised dial is short. You have to turn it to 60 and then back to the time you want the timer to go. The shortness of the dial makes it hard to use- it hurts your finger. The last one I had of this type had a higher and thinner dial which made it easier to use. I have tried several of the cheaper timers that you turn to the time and they have only lasted a few months.

Works well. Ringing is not very loud.

Timer
This bell is useless. When the timer goes off, it is so soft you can hardly hear it. I bought it so if I'm busy in another room, I could hear it. But it's not what I wanted. My mom had one that was super loud. This one is not.

Bell doesn't ring at all
I like that it's easy to see and use, however, the timer bell doesn't ring therefore, I can't use it.

Don't buy this. Numbers are too small to read and it's too hard to turn the dial.

Do not recommend
Not worth the purchase. Numbers are small and it works not even half the time. Disappointed because I ordered 2 at the same time. Waste of money for me
