Definitely helps with bruising and scar tissue issues. Absolutely don’t attempt until you are released from your surgeon’s office. So you will be certain that you are not playing with any damage that is still healing.That said this product just helps. It helps with healing that last part when you don’t need meds but you definitely know that it is not normal yet.I had double hematomas requiring 2 surgeries and over a week admitted. Removal was needed. However that left huge empty spaces down the shins. Time is your only choice. Meanwhile very weird painful sensations are constantly present. Mystery of what is happening in your body. Once the surgeon has done the cutting they are out. Doctors are not about to diagnose anything. Truth is time is needed and the new normal is different. The tape simply helps your body speed up the clock a bit. Helps your body be more efficient at what it needs to do.How it works no clue. Just works.Worth a try and far better than more medicine.

Update: After using these scar sheets with moderate consistency for just under one month, I feel a difference in one of my older scars (1 year old). This roll is very easy to work with, cut to size, and easy to peel off. The scar sheets stick VERY WELL to your skin, even if it is a bit oily. They are also very easy to remove, easier than a band-aid. They include instructions on how long to use them for depending on how new the scar is, so that helped a ton to figure out how long I should leave them on for. Cannot recommend enough!

Tried it out on a burn scar I got this summer about 6-8 weeks ago. Figured I would need to leave it on 2 weeks. Put it on Sunday around noon and the tape stuck well- even through workouts and showers. I just took it off (Wed evening) for an unrelated reason. Figured I’d need to put a new strip on but I was amazed to find it barely noticeable after 3.5 days. Will put it back on for a few more but was surprised at its effectiveness. Wish we had these things when I was a kid!
