While this pet grooming brush works very well to remove the winter undercoat of fur and any loose hair from your pet, I have found another equally important use for it. I bought one for our cat for which it works very well and realized it would also easily clean the hair from his other brushes. It cleaned the brushes effortlessly. I bought a second brush in purple color to clean my wife's hair brushes which get full of hair and it worked better than other hair brush cleaners that I've bought in past. It's well worth the money for either use. It is built very sturdy. As a pet brush it works very well to remove loose hair, but be careful to only to make light strokes as it will makes knots if you go too deep in a single stroke. If used as intended with only light strokes, it will do a great job of grooming your pet.

The detangling come is extremely sturdy and well made as well as the other brush. This works wonders on the undercoat of my long haired cat. The hair in the photo was after about 5 or 6 brushes and it was still pulling out undercoat! Super easy to use, helps with shedding, removes tangles and makes little look so much better!

This is the best grooming tool I have bought! It removes so much fur yet it is gentle and my cats do not mind me doing it all the time.

This shedding and dematting tool comes with a comb to help remove matts. Unfortunately, my cat does not like the feel of it when I try to use the dematting side of the tool. She does tolerate the deshedding side of the tool for vaying periods of use. The brush work wonders when she will let me use it to groom her. It can remove incredible amounts of hair!

I have a large, older, very hairy cat who has gotten to that age where grooming has become difficult for him. I was surprised by how quickly and easily the de-shedding brush removed large portions of his undercoat, even areas that had started matting. It also doesn't seem to be as aggravating as other combs, so he is more tolerant of longer periods of brushing, which if you have a cat that becomes annoyed with your attempts at grooming, or is easily overstimulated, this is a huge help.

This product is awesome, works great on my long haired cat. My cat had a huge matted hair and this got it out so fast and easy.

First of all, please remember there is a blade inside, so do not rake your dog or cats. There is no need to press hard. It Works very well the handle is great no slipping it pulls hair. One side is for detangling. The other side is for shedding.. It truly does remove the hair with ease. I have a Shih Tzu this is a must have tool. However, I gave him his last cut for the year so right now it’s only pulling so much off of him but even so It is still pulling hair! And with a Shih Tzu if you do not regularly every day, brush your dogs hair they can very easily get tangled or matted. I highly recommend this tool you will not regret it.
