Sculpt With Confidence
Hello everyone! I’m really enjoying Seacam Epoxy Sculpt! It’s affordable, easy to work with, and mixing it is a breeze. I started small since I’ve used other sculpting materials in the past that had such a horrible smell, I had to throw them out. With Seacam, mixing the 1:1 ratio was straightforward, and I could start sculpting right away without needing to warm the material. I was impressed with the long open time, allowing me to work at my own pace. I focused on a small piece to test how well the material would hold fine details overnight—and it did! All my tiny details stayed intact, and my sculpture set up beautifully by the next morning with a nice gloss finish. I’m thrilled to finally create sturdy, resilient sculptures without needing to work out in the garage!

Works well, holds shape and hardens evenly
The product is very firm out if the container but you can soften them using a microwave or putting the containers in hot water .. there is a slight chemical smell when you open the container but that dissipates quickly. They mix evenly quickly, there is a tacky feel but using some water on yiur hands clears that up. There's no sagging on vertical or horizontal positioning, and doesn't deform while setting up. When fully cured I was able to easily sand it using different grits of sand paper, sanding it to a decent polish, and even worked well with a rotary tool. Took great to paints, both spray and brush, and also worked well with decoupage (wood glue and tissue paper) it doesn't become brittle or flaky, holds up to medium distance falls, 6' onto tile floor.I recommend starting with small batches as it seems to harden faster than others of the same style. Be careful where you set the curing unused material as it will bond with just about anything.

Worth your money
Great product, my kids love making sculptures and this entertains them for hours at a time. It helps boost their creativity and the price for the amount you get it a great deal. It's white in color and the texture is soft and a tad bit sticky but no worse than other clays.

Strong and easy to work with
Edited to add: I've now tried both colors, and I can say that I prefer the white over the grey but they are both great! The white was a little easier to mix in my opinion, but had a slightly less working time. This could also be due to ratios that I pulled being slightly off though.use epoxy clays in my work fairly often, and wanted to try out this brand vs another popular one. This one was easier to blend together and easier on the hands in comparison, but did have a slightly quicker work time of 45 mins compared to the hour of the other one. (But also I used this one in a thinner coat so that could also have been the culprit). It seems just as strong as the other and I can't really see much of a difference in quality, so I'll be choosing this one more often moving forward since it's more price friendly for larger scale work!

Strong, keeps well, but not great for detail
This is a good, strong epoxy clay. It is however, the consistency of a putty, therefore may not be suitable for all sculpting applicants if they include fine details.

Did the trick!
Needed to replace/fabricate some plastic screw mounts in an old synthesizer that had broken off. Looks were not critical, but strength was. I was able to use this product and roughly shape what I needed and then placed the "blob" firmly inside the plastic synth shell to cure overnight. Worked like a champ! Was it pretty? No. Did it work? Absolutely!

Came with hard "skin" on the dark part which requires special handling to work properly
I do not know if it's the product or something with this batch, but the darker part it's not smooth but forms this crackly surface. If you knead it thoroughly it seems to work okay but you have to be careful not to leave little black chunky bits that will show in the final product and could potentially even cause structural issues leading to it breaking if too many are in the final form. It also can make it hard to get even distribution of the materials. Making sure to fully need all the little bits until it's uniform is required for a good result considering there are tons of such products available that they don't do this I cannot recommend this product. I'll do not the worst I've seen it is also on the tough side in terms of malleability so kneading can be a chore.

Great Clay for Any Level of Artist
This company sponsored me as an artist to create some sculptures to show off their clay. After working with it a few times I gotta say it’s a really great clay. I currently don’t have access to a kiln so this was a very convenient clay for me. It’s also slow drying which personally I love because it allowed to continue to work with the sculptures for quite a while. When the clay finally finishes drying painting it was also a lovely experience. The clay dries very smoothly and has no residue that I’ve found with other clays. It takes paint beautifully and very much shows the vibrancy of the colors. The clay dries very strong but feels very light in weight. I’m very happy with this clay and look forward to using it again.Clean up was also a breeze since it washes off with water. It’s perfect for artists of any level whether you’re a badass sculptor or just looking to have fun with some clay I recommend this clay. For the value of what I paid I was able to create two sculptures and still have half my clay left. A little definitely goes a long way.The clay itself has a little bit of a funky smell but it goes away as it air dries and cures. It does get a little gloopy if you mix it with too much water so watch out how wet you get the clay. But other than that this clay is truly a fun clay for all. I highly recommend.
