Pitaka iPad pro 13 inch 2024 M4 case compatible with magic keyboard and MagEZ case 2
The only reason I purchased the Apple Magic Keyboard was in anticipation of the release of the Pitaka Aramid fiber cover. This case provides three sides of protection, which is exposed when using the magic keyboard. Apple should’ve taken into consideration this issue and provide provided some form of case to cover the three edges that are clearly exposed when this keyboard is placed in a bag. Pitaka has stepped up and provided a beautiful case which works seamlessly with the magic keyboard. It also is designed to work with the MagEz 2 case perfectly. Whilst waiting for the MagEz case to be released I purchased a case from another company somewhat similar in style and fit to the MagEZ 2 case. The Aramid fibre case also fits into that perfectly as the magnet located on the back of the unit is extremely strong. The case is extremely thin and creates no bulk when using it with a case, covering the front, back and all sides of the iPad. This case offers a pass-through connector for charging and magnetic attachment to the magic keyboard also providing a slot on the top for the Apple Pencil. As the magic keyboard does not have a flap like the Mag Ez 2 came the pencil is prone to be knocked off when placed in your bag. Pitaka has supplied a soft leather like case utilizing a elastic strap which goes around the left side of the magic keyboard to protect the Apple Pencil. The case also has a tactile feeling so when utilizing this without any case, it remains very comfortable in the hand. It is precisely machine to fit within both cases and has a raised camera lip to protect the lenses. It can also be used with any magnetic stand as the magnets are extremely strong. This case is only intended to be used with the iPad 13 Pro 2024 M4. This is a great purchase. Please review the pictures above which show used with a magic keyboard and the MagEz 2 case.

So close.. (M4 13inch)
The media could not be loaded. I am returning this item. It almost hit the nail on the head, but there is one fatal flaw: it doesn't stay closed in every orientation when used with Apple's Magic Keyboard. When laid flat like a MacBook, it stays shut because of the weight of the iPad. No battery drainage. When laid upside down, it's a toss-up. It may stay closed due to the magnets, but only if pushed gently and with more force than you'd normally use to close it.When on its side (like in a backpack, which is where mine usually goes since I bring it with me everywhere), there is no chance of it staying closed. I've attached videos that show how sensitive the iPad is to waking upon any touch-and-release of the Magic Keyboard. I tried disabling the auto-wake/lock feature but immediately hated the extra two seconds of inconvenience of having to tap the screen or spacebar just to get the lock screen to display. The issue seems to be because of the lips next to the open side of the iPad; they come into contact with the keyboard, preventing it from sitting flush and acting as a lever for the whole iPad. It's just big enough for the magnets to not work most of the time. This case otherwise is wonderful; it's easy to install, it's lightweight, and it all feels nice to the touch. The texture is grippy but not sticky, and the buttons are nice and clicky. I was between this and 4 other brands of cases but decided to try this because I'm getting the Pitaka folio as well, but I've read from many reviews and forums that the closing issue is prevalent across all of these Magic Keyboard-compatible cases at the moment. Hopefully someone figures it out and makes one that works! In the meantime, my iPad is going commando.

Perfect versatility between Magic Keyboard and ESR magnetic case!
This allows you to attach your iPad to the Magic Keyboard and transfer it to a folding case seamlessly which is exactly what I was looking for! It gives the iPad protection when swapping it out so you can use it during the day for typing & productivity tasks and quickly switch over to having it in a writing/drawing position. I haven’t tried it yet with my Sketchboard Pro yet but looking forward to testing it out! I’m just super stoked because I couldn’t find anything else that allowed for this easy switch that should be baseline from Apple but of course it’s not. I actually do like the Magic Keyboard quite a bit which is why I chose this option, otherwise I would have just gotten a completely different case and used a portable keyboard. The Magic Keyboard plus the ESR folding case fit nicely in my backpack without a bunch of additional bulk. The magnet is strong so everything is secure. I just leave this case on but it’s easy to remove if you need to. So if anyone is looking for the solution I was, this works beautifully.
