Very good light for your medicinal plants - no socket included!
Alright yall, just got this light and im sure a lot of you are wondering what the deal is.100W with actual consumption of 65w as listed in the description. This light is BRIGHT - its also alot bigger than it looks in the photos and it doesnt come with a socket - pick one up with your purchase or buy one form a local hardware store. i got mine at Home Depot for $9 - just make sure it can withhold a min of 150W bulb - i almost bought the wrong one! This is brighter than my cheapo (~$60ish) 300W Blue and Red LED i got from amazon. This is a great light for Veg and flower. Im currently running 2 of the 300w Led lights and this light as im approaching the last bits of Veg for my Auto flowers. This may be overkill for my plants but im a little OCD about light spacing so here i am. Make sure that your light is a good distance away from your plants to encourage them to grow toward the light - too much bright light too close and you'll end up with shorter plants. There is very little hear that comes off from this light so you can get it down closer during flower.Pro tip: make sure you're at least giving your plants AT LEAST a 4hr dark period. - i give mine 18/6 and i flower with 11/13 (google the benefits of 11/13 for photo periods) I know some people think 24/0 is possible but with this much light intake, your plants are going to need that dark period break.

Makes a buzzing noise
Light is bright and works great but makes a buzzing sound none of my other grow light make that I can hear even in the next room. I am not sure if it is supposed to make that noise or if my is defective.

Cree product?
I ordered 2 to replace a burple light and I like the obvious better penetration with PAR readings as advertised. However I do not see the Cree trademark on the package; so I am only giving 4 stars. Is this a true Cree product? I was looking forward to trying a true Cree light.I would like to update this review in a month with some harvest results and hopefully a clarification on the authenticity of the Cree trademark.Update: The company sent me a reply and assured me that the light had a Cree chip and I could remove the lens to verify. I never looked because I believe them. I since ordered 2 of the cheaper Citizen chip versions. They are slightly different but perform the same so far.The 4 lights I have running a total of 260 watts replaced 650 watts of burple. The much improved harvest using these in flower for the last 6 weeks has convinced me to stop wasting time with burple.

Great Light for the Price
This is a great light for the price. It has a very low heat signature and outside of not having a lens to help evenly distribute the light, it's a great full-spectrum light.
