CPL-3345, Circular Polarizing Lens, Anti-Glare Filter, Only for FITCAMX Dash Cams, Easy to Adjust

I just installed a Fitcamx in my wife's 2021 Honda Odyssey. What we saw was a huge reflection of the dashboard into the camera picture. It really interfered with the quality of the images captured. By using the polarizing filter, it makes a tremendous improvement in the quality of the video captured. A polarizing filter should really be standard equipment and not a required accessory. Be careful about which filter to order for your Fitcamx. There are several models of filter and you just want to have the one for your particular camera model. I emailed the Fitcamx support team and they told me that this was the correct part to use with our 2021 Odyssey Fitcamx. Unfortunately, they don't make a filter for my 2025 Honda CRV Fitcamx. I've attached before and after photos so you can see the improvement from the filter.

This polarizing filter is a must-have for the FITCAMX dashcam. Once installed, you can rotate the filter while viewing the camera image in the app on your phone to set it to the optimal polarizing effect. It mostly eliminates the reflections from the windshield. My only worry is that it uses double-sided tape to attach to the FITCAMX. Time will tell if the adhesive stays strong with intense summer heat.

The polarizer was a big improvement on my dashcam, largely eliminating the reflection of the dashboard.

My dash cam is in my rain sensor, which is in the center of the windshield. There is always reflections in the video from the front speaker. Now with this the reflections are much lighter.

Works very well. But it should have been included with the unit to be honest. Without it, you'll get that glare from the sun.The adhesive backing was difficult to remove, possible that it was sitting in a warehouse and dried out.

The camera seemed to work better without the anti glare cover. Once I put it on it had a rainbow effect on the video. East to install just didnt work well. Put it on, took a look at the lenses on video. Tried to clean it thinking that would fix it but it didn't so I just removed it and threw it away

I purchased the CPL-3345 polarizing lens for my Alfa Romeo Giulia, even though I didn't purchase the dash cam "kit" from FITCAMX. Most of the dash cam "kits" that fit behind the rearview mirror have the same housing. Different vendors use different components in the housings, but the outer housings are usually the same. I took a chance that the FITCAMX housing was the same housing as my dash cam kit that I purchased elsewhere, and it was. The lens eliminates about 85% of the glare on the windshield. As others have said, the price is high. Other than that, the polarizing lens fits and works perfectly.

Does what I needs to do for my FITCAMX dashcam on my 2018 tundra. The glass is clear and really helps with glare.
