Why isn't my unit getting cold?

I had the same problem with one of the units I ordered a couple of weeks ago. The first one I installed last week works great but the second one ended up just blowing warm air. I contacted the company via email (only way to engage them) last Friday evening to initiate support/return. I didn't expect them to answer over the weekend so I decided to initiate the return/replacement with Amazon. Windmillair actually responded to me multiple times over the weekend to offer help. They expressed their concern that they are having shipping channel distribution problems with carriers damaging the internals of the units. Bottom line - your unit is most likely damaged like mine was. Contact the company as soon as you can to initiate a replacement, their customer service is outstanding.

Is this Energy Star Rated?

Energy Star is 12 CEER. We are obviously very close to this standard, and we do a lot of other things that make us more eco-friendly, like using a better refrigerant, allowing customers to shut off their units remotely through our app, and helping to offset the carbon emissions of every AC purchased. Can this unit be used during Wildfire season? My area gets bad from fire smoke.

can it be removed from the outside by intruders?
