So delighted with our choice!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was perfect for what we needed. Uses kcups. Has a "strong" or "hot" choice buttons. I can use the pot to make my decaf green tea (Davidson's) dried tea leaves, then delute to make my ice tea. More compact. It is also great for someone with low-vision issues. Front controls not top. Hot plate on coffee pot is easy to shut off. Compared & checked all and it came down to this one. We used our last Keurig for over 15 years. I was not surprised with my comparison shopping that I was always coming back to a Keurig.Build quality:It's a Keurig. Keurig is quality!Functionality:Amazing.Features:Just what we need. The "strong" option was essential. The coffee pot spout is an easy pour new design, no spills to clean up. My french press still makes the best iced coffee, sorry Keurig.Leakage:Not that I've seen.Size:The coffee pot is a good capacity w/ a great pour spout.

Dynamic Duo
Fab coffee maker. Looks good on your countertop too. This is the new gen2 duo Keurig with the controls on the front of the unit. You will love this machine. Auto brew, nice 12 cup carafe. 72oz water reservoir. Buttons have a great new feel to them when pressed. Also, this model has an X-HOT button!. The unit is not a monstrous, overpowering size. Only has a 11" wide footprint. 12½" high. Put a nice K-cup holder along side of it and you will be in good shape. Buy it.

Great combo machine
After some time with this coffee pot I really like it. The single pod part of the machine is very selectable for size. The water bin is really large. I like that the pod top has the newer multi point water inlet so it uses the pods more evenly. The filter/drip half is a good size and also works well for making larger amounts of coffee. I have no complaints and I'm planning to buy another one for my primary home.

Good brewer but not great. Chemical/plastic taste is a bit of a letdown...
This coffee maker IMO is a 3.5 star unit, but I'll round up on my review. I wanted a drip brewer and still have the option for Keurig pods on occasion for other things like black tea. This unit looked like it would deliver on what I was looking for, though I have had a mixed ride with Keurig products, especially their newer offerings.First I'll list out the pros:1. It does double duty and for me, that saves space on the counter.2. It brews decent coffee.3. The interface is straight forward.4. It lasted more than a week which beats a couple prior Keurig's I've bought which is a plus.Cons:1. I don't know if it's my pallette but I can taste a distinct chemical/plastic taste when brewing coffee and pods. I ran multiple tanks of water through the unit before using it on both drip and pods. I installed a carbon filter in the tank as well since it doesn't come with one. I resorted to running cleaner through the unit and white vinegar which solved the issue on the drip side, but I can still get a hint of the taste on the pod side. I noticed in the later generation Keurig's, this has been an issue for me. I have an older Keurig that has a water heating chamber, and I never had the issue with that unit. YMMV.2. The scheduling for the next day could be better. I would say that using it non-auto brew is straight forward. Going through the scheduling every time you want auto-brew is a bit sub-optimal. Not a deal breaker by any means, but it could be better.3. It doesn't exactly come across as high quality but it does the job.4. I wish the water tank was a bit bigger so I could do 3-4 6 cup brews without refilling.5. It didn't come with a carbon filter.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and hope it lasts more than a year. With time, I also hope the chemical/plastic taste subsides on the pod side of the brewer. For the price, I would buy it again if there isn't another option doing the same thing for within $50 of this unit. I will post an update if it stops functioning down the road. I have been using it daily for six weeks without any issues.

GREAT coffee pot... Love the Strong & X-hot buttons....
Looks great and is actually more streamline than older Keurig. Easy to use....stays hot longer than my older one too. The strong and X-hot features are excellent and really do the job. I love it and can highly commend this product.

Great features
The unit works well, I make sure to use filtered water to keep everything tasting good. The coffee tends to lose heat in the carafe, but is hotter for the single serve. There is however, an extra hot option as well as cold. I love all the size options and also making the coffee more strong. The water reservoir is in the back so it provides more lateral counter space. Impressed with the engineering of this coffee maker.
