So far so good. I almost got a different brand, but figured I'd try this one out. So far it has been great, and gets my workshop dust out of the air fairly quickly. I can notice the difference of dust on vehicles and other things in the garage has lessened, and I don't have to use my blower after a project (or at least as much). The hanging process was easy, and the filters are easily replaceable, which is nice for when they get dirty. The remote works well too.

Works well. It came missing a screw. Manufacturer was willing to replace it, but who wants to have to repack something this big and heavy, find a printer for the shipping label, then take the time to drive to a shipper?

So far, I'm liking this filter. It's the first I've used but it does a good job at clearing the air while sanding or using the table saw. It turns the air in my garage once every 4 minutes so you notice a pretty big difference in 2 minutes and by about 5 minutes there's nothing left in the air after a really heavy sanding session. While it won't keep the air clean entirely, if I leave it running in my garage while I work, it probably keeps the air clear by about 50-60% over just letting the dust settle. When combined with dust collection at the source it's very effective at keeping the air clean while I work. The filtration level is plenty good for standard wood dust and while I was concerned the air blowing out of the bottom would cause problems, it's actually helping to cycle the air lower down back around to the filters to be more effective at cleaning it. By the time the wind from the fan hits the ground, there's no noticeable blowing of dust so it's probably just right for a 9' ceiling/hanging height. there is also the option of having it mounted resting on a table or even the ground the shop with the outlet facing up so if your dust tends to be lower down, this might be a good option to minimize the amount of dust moving in the air. I don't have the space so I haven't tried that... The timer function is great so I can set it for 30 minutes when I'm done working and just let it do a final cleaning to make sure there isn't anything left to settle.
