This is the candle my husband and I got at the Ritz Carlton, for our honeymoon. Of course that was a private label so it doesn't look exactly the same, but this is it. Oh, how the smell takes us back! When you open the candle for the first time, it will smell like a cheap orange candy, like someone else said. I thought it was the wrong one as I didn't remember that part. But after about an hour it gets to it's base smell and then there it stays! It's like a tropical paradise and isn't overwhelming or cheap. I'm so sensitive to candles and usually react to soy but this one doesn't bother me. Maybe it's the pure wick? It's quality and it burns VERY slowly, which is indicative of a good candle. The only thing I'm a bit frustrated with is the smell doesn't really permeate the room. I'm not sure if there's not enough fragrance in the candle?

I have had tgis candle in my office for over a year and I have received multiple compliments on the scent even when I don't light the wicks. The scent is very calming and relaxing and my entire team loves the scent. I have now purchased sone for member of my team to try at home.

I wouldn't have guessed I'd have a favorite candle scent, but this is surely it. I have given it as gifts to similar warm responses. Whether simply left in the sunlight or lit to burn, it creates a distinctive, calm, welcoming ambiance. Top tier.

I've always enjoyed this brand of candles. With others you don't always have consistency, whether its lack of fragrance, or the way the wick burns but withArchipelago Botanicals you know your getting quality everytime. The fragrance of Tobacco is just awesome with this candle!!

Great smelling candle. Archipelago makes some of the best scents-at least in my opinion. However, they are a little pricey...so only 4 stars d/t the cost.

I've tried many candles since Yankee Candle's quality seems to have tanked, and none have hit the price v. quality target right. Malin candles are terrific but their prices are way more than I'm willing to pay. I tried Mrs. Meyers but they seem to have no scent at all.These really hit the target. Strong, refined scent that seems to last, a price that doesn't make you feel guilty for lighting a candle. Very happy with this purchase.
