Exactly what I wanted
Just got this tool yesterday. My word has this saved me time. Have been making wooden bases for birthday numbers for the family. Up to now I have been using a file to chamfer the edges which was taking forever. Have just done eight bases in the time it would have taken me to do one. As someone said before on product review, take your time and increase by small increments. The only issue I had was every now and then I could not remember which way to turn the knurled nut, put that down to my age. Good tool, good value for the money, very easy to use.

Quality
I originally bought the slightly more expensive item that has many reviews. I returned that item twice, first because a screw was sitting proud and the next because a loose screw did not even screw in, poor quality control. On receiving this item I was impressed immediately by the quality of build, far better than the one I returned. The blades are very robust and sharp out of the box and the additional blades are conveniently housed in the body of the tool. The cutting is also far better that the other item. I would strongly recommend this tool for any level of woodworker.

Also try pulling it, Japanese style
Although the instructions suggest pushing it, also try turning it around and pulling it, Japanese style. When held that way, it fits under your hand quite nicely, and the indentations are where your fingers lie, and the heel of the hand can apply pressure. Definitely follow their advice and try on some test pieces first, and record the mm numbers where you need to start and finish. I thought some of my bits were faulty to start with, as they wouldn't catch on the thread, or would catch and lock up, but by jiggling around the wheel, eventually I found out how to get them to line up right. Take off thin slices and work down a small turn at a time. You get in trouble if you try too much at once. I was working with hardwood plywood, and it was hard work but the tool held up.

Very good tool, but don't try and rush it.
This is a really handy little tool. Used it for edging my batons on shaker-style wardrobe doors, and it's done a great job. However, a tip for anyone like me who doesn't use tools like this very often, don't try and do the edges in one go - set the chisel quite high for the first pass, so you just take of half a mm or so, then turn the wheel a half-turn, do another run, and repeat. Also this produces really great fire-lighter whittling!

Great piece of kit
I bought this to break the edges on small wood working projects rather than getting out the router and setting it up. It does a great job on soft woods, I have yet to try in on a hard wood but I imagine it will do a good job. Quick and easy, only downside may be when it comes time to sharpen the round over bits.

Great tool
Great little edger

Decent little tool.
Try not to chamfer too much off to start with. Work down to desired depth if going deep. Will perform differently depending on the hardness of the material to be worked with.

Solid product
First try on soft wood worked reasonably well . Plane with the grain for good results.
