Very well made and tons of fun.
All in all, I. Love. This. Slingshot! Very strong and sturdy. The grip and wrist rest are comfortable and well placed. I like that it has extra bands, though I haven’t needed to change mine. It’s got a LOT of power behind it! Definitely not a toy for anyone who wouldn’t be responsible with it. Puts holes through cardboard easily. I bought the first one with a coupon. Liked it so much, I bought another at full price for a friend as a gift.Only wonder is how to use the “sight”. At least I think that’s what it is. It only attaches in the bottom, so can’t be used as a sight. Perhaps it’s something else I haven’t figured out...

First Impression
It's been 30 years since I've tinkered with a slingshot and we used rocks or whatever else we could find as ammo back then. Dad would pay us $1.00 for every Grackle we killed. My brother always grabbed the pellet gun so I had to learn slingshot proficiency. I bought 1100 Fedmax 3/8" clay pellets to see what I could do to scare the squirrels around here. I don't want to kill, just chase them up the trees before I let the dogs out (dogs are in training, but they're prey driven bloodthirsty fools and I'm an amateur trainer so it's slow going). Firecrackers were suggested, but the clean up deterred me. Clay pellets will eventually dissolve and the lawnmower will remain damage free if I deign to shun clean up of the pellets.Anyway, here's what I think:Assembly: 4 starsThis was a no-brainer to put together and it was easy even with arthritic hands to get it assembled. There is a piece; however, that I am unsure of and no instructions to explain. I believe it's a mechanism that will allow stabilization of the slingshot if anchored to something, though I'm not positive. It's the circular part at the base of the handle in the first picture. I'm sure I can get it put together, but its purpose eludes me.Warning label: 5 starsIt specifically states this is Not a toy and children need to use it under adult supervision (though adult responsibility capability is debatable in some)Use: 5 starsI pulled it about 75% taut for my first launch and it went much further than I expected, oops. The pellet pinged off our gate which is about 60 feet away. I adjusted to a half cocked position and hit the tree at the point I was aiming, but about 12" higher than intended. I guess I still have good aim and just need to hone it a little. I honestly think I could launch this nearly the length of our 1.3 acres, but I'm hesitant to try as there is an NFL player (okay, Free Agent) who lives behind us. Although, it could be considered payback for the night he was playing loud music at 2 a.m. Hmmmm. At that time of morning they'd never know where the shot came from (however, this is in writing in a public forum so no, I would Never do that. No sir, neeeeever.).Kill Potential: 4 starsI do believe I could kill a squirrel with this slingshot and the clay pellets I have. I am positive I could with the steel pellets (balls, whatever) that were included. However, with death being unintended I also believe I can achieve my goal of "shoot to scare." I feel as though I may accidentally ping a squirrel, though, until I refine my aim. At half tension, though, It should be able to hurt about as much as a spitball launched from an empty pen barrel; and therefore will attain the expected reward of shooing the varmints up their tree.Packaging accuracy: 3 starsThe description says it comes "Packed with 1 slingshot with rubber band, 2 free spare rubber bands;" however, I received 2 rubber band sets and the description makes it sound as though there should have been 3 (the one that comes with the slingshot and the 2 spares).Gender Consideration: 5 starsThe slingshot did not shock, sting, burn, nor cause any other harm to me simply because my body includes ovaries.Kid Friendliness: 5 starsThough this is Not intended for children to play with, youngsters who wish to hunt or compete with the slingshot will be able to use it. I do not possess any particularly noteworthy strength and arthritis is prevalent through most of my body, yet I found this easy to pull and hold. It might be a little weighty for 8 and under, but 9 and up shouldn't have any trouble. So I guess I'm saying I have at least the strength of a 9-yr old.In closing, this would be a good buy. Especially if you neighbor with squirrels or NFL players.

Tiny bands
Overall not a bad slingshot. shoots well, but the bands are much smaller than i thought, probably going to have to be replaced frequently.

Excellent quality!
This item surprised me with the quality. The metal (steel?) frame and the wooden handle make it both highly functional and beautiful. This is not a toy!

Five Stars
Good design, I like it. The metal is sturdy and the grip is solid. The flip out strap really helps get good leverage and has a magnet to hold the ammo.

Not as shown
The wrist bars way to short a ammo holder is a joke. But not a lot of money. Will remove the arm band and use as a regular y post. Would not recommend to others.
