Very easy to use!
I bought this cutter to make a circular lens for a can light in my house. The original glass was white and didn’t let enough light through. I called a glass company and the wanted $40 to cut an 8” diameter piece of glass. I said no thanks and ordered this off Amazon for just over $10. I watched a YouTube video on how to cut circular glass and used an old piece of glass from a picture frame. Cutter worked great and I have made lenses for 2 lights so far. It works great and I saved a lot of money as opposed to going to a glass cutting business. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to cut glass in a circle. Definitely watch a YouTube video before using if you don’t have experience cutting glass.

Works great
Scores perfect circles. I love the adjustable size, from small to big. I used it to cut larger circles (10 inch) for vases I was making. The suction on it holds strong, doesn’t move at all while scoring, it’s actually strong enough to lift and shake the glass without it falling off until you finally release it with the little lever. Definitely a tool I don’t want to be without in in glass fusing supply kit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing glass cut into circles

Don’t waste your time
Terrible quality. Setup was easy but the adjustment screws would not stay tight resulting in circle cuts being impossible to get right. Very unhappy with my purchase.

It works but ...
This is a very flimsy tool. It costs about as much as two pre-cut 3" glass circles. If you are not experienced cutting glass even with straight edges, I wouldn't buy it. You are or will become one of the people who claim this is a POS. If you are experienced and just need a few circles for something, you can make this work and it could be your cheap solution. You have to oil the joints above the suction cup because you can barely rotate it once the lever that creates the suction is engaged. Wet the cup to help hold it in place. Set the desired radius (beyond the scope of this review - trial and error) and tighten the set screw; hopefully without stripping or breaking. While the cutter is touching the glass (no pressure yet) remove all the slop out of the joints by tipping the cutter knob away from the suction cup and forward in the direction of the cut. Press and carefully rotate the tool around the circle while maintaining the pressure away and forward relative to the center in a smooth and uniform motion. Of course stop when you reach the start point. The beginning and end will not line up exactly so you will need to clean that up later; hopefully on a glass grinder but at least with some diamond sandpaper. Now watch some videos on cutting glass circles to learn how to turn the score mark into an actual break in the glass and how to release the circle from the sheet. If you plan on making a lot of circles or curves or want to be able to set the size according to the scale on the tool, you are going to want something "made better" - likely much more expensive. Can't tell you what that is yet, but I am sure a certain amount of skill and post cut clean-up will still be required.

Buy the better quality tool
I bout this to cut a bunch of curves and arcs for some celtic themed stained glass. Mainly I bought it because it would arrive the quickest and I needed it fast. In hindsight, it would have saved me more time to buy a better quality tool. The suction cup, the lock levers, and the cutter holder were all plastic and not very rugged. The metal bar that holds the cutter is crudely stamped with inaccurate measurements in cm. I was unable to get any consistent arcs with this and spent alot of time grinding due to the inconsistent arcs. The cutter also stopped working about 10 cuts in and I had to take it apart and adjust it alot, leading to further inaccuracies. If I had to do it again, I'd buy a different tool. But for a few imprecise cuts it will do the job.

low price top quality
this tool works perfectly , I was somewhat hesitant with the low price in that in would be of inferior quality , heck no this tool is top notch ! Suction is great , cutting wheel scribes very well with nominal force applied . I would rate this a number 10 .

Game changer for cutting stained glass
I can cut glass in a circle without this device but it sure is easier with it. In seconds you etch a perfect circle. Make some cuts to the edge and take off pieces around the edge. Very easy and quick.
