My new go-to foundation
This is, hands down, the best foundation I've ever used. I have spent thousands of dollars on everything from top tier high-end foundations to drug store brands and I have never had a foundation look as flawless as this TirTir foundation does. It is lightweight and breathable on my skin, and it stays all day. I have combo skin with dry patches that, by the end of the day, wind up flaky no matter how hydrated my skin is; that doesn't happen with this foundation at all, not a single dry flake in sight. It doesn't exacerbate the oilier parts of my face, either. The color match was impeccable (on the first guess, no less) and honestly probably the closest to my skin tone I've ever gotten from a foundation.I've seen some reviews say they use a brush for application, but I've found the silky-smooth applicator that comes in the compact is amazing for application - it feels like butter. I pat the foundation into my skin using the applicator and am able to achieve my perfect level of coverage with minimal effort or thought. Finally, it's not something that bothers me, but may have an impact on other buyers: the foundation does have a perfumy smell. It's light but noticeable, however it does not linger. I actually quite like the smell, but I was also surprised by it when I tried it for the first time. This cushion foundation is a game changer and I'm so glad I took a leap of faith and purchased it.

Works, but run-out too quickly!
I finally found my color, Sand, I think! It is a trial and error situation, but I do like the ease of putting it on and not looking made up at my age 79! I’m using the silver compact. It is difficult to get out of the compact and it has only lasted about 3 1/2 weeks, and now seems hard to get out of the sponge and then onto my face. I have to press the sponge pretty hard to get enough makeup on my face and usually I have to struggle to get the look I want with the pad! Not sure why it seems the makeup is used up so quickly and also hard to get enough on my face after only after a few weeks.Yes, the price is good, it doesn’t take a lot to get the look I want, but it is difficult to get onto my skin after only 3 weeks! Maybe a little more makeup in the compact would be a great idea! Makeup in the compact should be available without struggling more than just 1 month. Nearly all makeup usually gives at least 2 months of use if not more! I really don’t use a lot of the product compared to what I’ve used with other products! It doesn’t last long enough for the price in my opinion.

Cool ivory
First I tried the foundation in the red compact, that one covered my dark spots/hyperpigmentation well but it was drying to my slightly dry sensitive skin. This one in the silver compact is perfect for me. I'm fair and cool complexion and this one's a good match. I don't like the way my face looks using the included applicator sponge so I use a lightly dampened takelon brush.

Fabuela looking for options
The media could not be loaded. Fabuelita looking to look good but the product a little too white . Did prep skin and do use moisturizer. At first difficult to blend you get the trick of the sponge as you go. Do have rosacea , did cover but does not look natural to me . After a little it seemed to blend in by itself and the color looked better after the initial set. I think it did looked even. The fragrance to a highly sensitive person like me bother me from the start . Even when the color is a no for me I will give it another try but the light smell did it for me , is a no!

I'm a Cushion Convert
This is the best foundation I have ever used...light yet great coverage. It feels like a second skin- in fact, I barely notice it's there. The color match is superb, and it doesn't settle in my pores or fine lines. It's a keeper!

Not for me
I don’t know what it is about cushion foundation formulas that disagree with my skin, but I had the exact same problems with TIRTIR as I had with the MISSHA Magic Cushion foundation. I decided to try this silver compact version since a lot of the reviews on the red compact version said it was drying.Well, this one wasn’t drying, but it did stick terribly to my dry patches and all the other texture on my face. The coverage is poor, I have acne and large pores in my midface that this foundation did nothing to hide. In fact, the only place this foundation looked good was on my cheekbones and forehead, where I don’t have acne or large pores. But what’s the point of a foundation if it only looks good on clear skin? Foundation is supposed to even out the skin tone, but this just immediately settled into my pores and all my redness managed to show through if I didn’t use concealer underneath it.I tried this a few different times with no primer, primer, no concealer, and concealer. While using no primer it started oxidizing almost immediately and looked visibly crusty after about 30 minutes. Also, yes, I did make sure to apply this in thin and even layers. I know how easy it is to over apply cushion foundation! But that didn’t help at all. Even after immediate application, the skin on and around my nose looked terrible. The pores on my nose were even more visible, and the dry patches on the sides of my nose looked even worse. This was with using the elf putty pore-filling primer.Another note: this foundation smells very strongly of baby powder, which I hated. I don’t think I’ve ever used such a fragrant foundation before. I’d rather it smell like plain makeup than whatever fragrance they added in here.I realize that foundation, in general, tends to make acne bumps look worse. But there are some formulas that perform better than others in this regard. TIRTIR is one of those formulas that perform terribly with bumps and texture, you’re better off just using concealer alone.Final conclusion: TIRTIR is not for me.
