It's all wheel drive so all 4 wheels spin at once which is cool.You can control the lights with the remote which for some weird reason I love. Kinda funny to flash your RC's headlights.It's super easy to break it loose while in control on smooth open floors then you gun it and the drifting fun ensues.Probably not that great for small areas or kitchen floors until you practice a little. The slick tires it comes with are the drifters. The rubber ones are if you're doing actual controlled racing.The wheels don't seem durable enough for all but the smoothest surfaces - maybe dock a half star for that.Without a proportional steering system, it's not that amazing - but the whole kit is a nice value and even someone who likes pro-level RC stuff would get a kick out of playing with this little drifter.

I will say that this is a good RC car but it definitely a toy for children I would say 10 and under. It is a slower car with low power. It has two speeds but both are slower than other RC cars I have seen and I don't see much of a difference between the two speeds. It comes with two sets of tires, one is more grippy and one is slick and meant for drifting. This is convenient for different flooring types in your house. It comes with a set of cones which keeps my child very entertained and he loves putting them out and making different courses for his car. The only thing I do not like is that the battery lasts about 20 minutes and then I have an upset kid. He can play with these things for hours. It does charge fast. If I plug it into the wall it only takes about 30 minutes but when you have an impatient child that seems like forever.

As an avid fan of Initial D, I couldn't resist getting my hands on this RC car modeled after the iconic Toyota AE86. While the wrong color was sent, the quality of the car itself is impressive.It's not the fastest RC car out there, but it's a lot of fun to drift around on smooth surfaces. The included extra tires and cones add to the fun, allowing you to practice your drifting skills.If you're looking for a relatively affordable RC car that captures the spirit of Initial D, this is a decent choice. Just be aware that it's not a speed demon, and double-check the color you receive.

On the face of things, this is a toy. It's not a serious RC car. It's low power, low speed, meant for indoors, and works best on smooth floors so you can drift it. If you don't have smooth floors, it comes with rubber tires, so you can run it over any surface.It comes with two batteries and cones, too, for setting up a drift course. The lights can be turned on and off from the button on the remote. The remote also has a button for low speed and hi speed, but honestly, I didn't see a huge difference between the two.Where this one shines is my kiddo is a HUGE fan of Initial D. He likes to collect all things drift, and that includes little things like this. He's got bigger and better RC cars, but this will have a place of honor on the shelf because it's an AE86. No, it doesn't have the decals to make it an officially licensed toy, but it's an AE86!! Huzzah!

This replica RC drift car is a great homage to the famous tofu delivery vehicle that we all know and love. The car certainly looks the part, and it drifts on command as well! It comes with everything you need in order to start playing with it right away, which is a huge bonus. I'm glad that I didn't have to dig around for batteries and other decorative pieces, and instead was able to start enjoying it instantly. It even comes with replacement tires, which is something I wasn't expecting. I would definitely get this again.

This car is super fast and drifts great!There is a low speed option but it's nearly as fast as the standard high speed mode.Love that it comes with a extra set of wheels thst are a little more grippy, and a small screw driver because my daughter loves playing mechanic and fixing it up.The slick tires are way more fun though, on the tile.The grippy tires do feel like the car goes much faster but doesn't drift good.She's 4 by the way.The steering wheel isn't super sensitive but after some practice i got the hang of it and the car can mostly do everything i need it to, she isn't trying to get into cone parking spots or anything she just loves driving it around.The battery lasts about 20 minutes, it comes with 2 batteries and a usb charger, i just charge it from my pc.The battery back cover comes with both a screw and plastic tab option, i ended up taking the screw out because it's a little cumbersome to keep unscrewing it to hot swap the battery during playtime.There is a reverse, just pull the trigger in the opposite side of the forward, like away/upAn awesome toy, for a great price.Awesome bonus that it comes with tiny cones.
