Nice rack for the price!
I found these shelves to be sturdy enough for most household and garage applications. I found installation very easy with the hardest part being connecting the first level together but it was easy as I just leaned everything against the wall. I felt the connection of the sections of the uprights could have been done better but at this point I connected the side rail there holding the 2 together better. All in all it took me about 20 minutes to put together and when done I was very happy how sturdy it was as I had no real means to attach this to the wall as it is in a metal shipping container. I will have 4 of these shelves in a row when done and I will run a bolt thru them, tying them all together making this even more sturdy. I chose these shelves due to the metal on the actual shelf with bracing on the bottom side and not flimsy engineered wood that has no bracing. I placed 4 ATV tires with rims on the top shelf for storage and it handled the weight very easily. I am very satisfied with the build of these and found then to be less than half the cost of local hardware stores shelf they offer in same size. I will say the little plastic hammer they include is hardly able to pound the shelf brackets in place so use a rubber mallet instead.

It's well suited to what I need it for and looks great.
I'm using this in the garage to organize and store various things. I have my doubts about the load capacity of the shelves, but they can certainly support a good deal of weight per shelf. I still give 5 stars as I didn't fully trust the load capacity claim from the beginning. The instructions state to brace it to the wall, and provide some things to do so, but I decided not to as the baseboards prevent the shelf from getting close enough to do so. It is sturdy enough standing free, however it will indeed wobble a bit if you apply force to it.There are 8 braces that slide into place on the left and right sides between shelves. They are a bit too loose for my liking, but they should be fine as long as they aren't messed with too much.As for the instructions, they were a bit messy. Spaces missing between some words, a couple of misspelled words. That sort of thing. My biggest issue was making heads or tails of the pictures, though, as they were quite small and I was stuck wondering for a bit which pieces were which. That said, once I understood what pieces were what, and what it was trying to tell me to do, installation was very simple--though it was slightly annoying as I put it together on my own instead of having another person assist me as is recommended. All in all, they're nice shelves. I might buy another set someday if I end up needing one.

Flimsy but suitable for the price
The construction is about as cheap as can be-- paper thin metal, no bolts, rickety plastic joiners, and some of the shelves arrived with pretty substantial dings & deformations that made the final product slightly wobbly. I can't imagine what metric they use to claim 3000lbs of weight support, I don't think I'd risk even a tenth that on these shelves. HOWEVER, all I needed these for was to clear up some clutter in my garage, store some light boxes and bulky toiletries, etc. and for that purpose they are quite suitable and being flimsy & lightweight was basically an advantage for ease of setup. So main takeaway is that I wouldn't put anything expensive or legitimately heavy on these shelves but if you need to clear some space in your garage they are quite capacious and fine for the price.

Solid shelf! Great for the extra things you need to store!
Great price! A very solid and sturdy shelf for the garage. Also can hold a solid amount of weight. Easy to assemble, had it done in less than 30 minutes.

JUNK! WASTE OF MONEY!
I almost always read reviews before buying. I didn't this time. That being said, I believe that a lot of bad reviews are from people who are never satisfied. That being said, I have to say that this snap-together shelving is A PIECE OF JUNK! Very flimsy metal. Not a screw or bolt in it. The two halves (the 4 corners are not continuous pieces) are held together by small pieces of plastic so flimsy that when you have to add a corner to start the upper half, the corners want to fall over. Careful if you need to lift it or it will come apart. And I definitely would not put anything heavy on any shelf but the bottom. I don't believe it will hold a quarter of rated capacity.

Assembly
These metal storage shelves are very sturdy and hold lots of weight. These were the most difficult shelves I have ever assembled. Content sheet did not show one of the major part needed for the assembly. The unit is quality and worth it if you are adept at assembly.
