The consistency of the eraser is just right, not too soft or hard. It picks up carbon wonderfully.Purchased because I lost my pencil bag. Intending to give the second package of erasers to my sisters. I’m happy with this product and the service I received.

Every artist needs a kneaded eraser and this one is soft enough to knead easily and shape easily. Other brands are too stiff and tiring when handled but this one makes the necessary task easy.

Usually when one thinks of an eraser it's the same consistency of what's on the back of a pencil or the little brick in a child's pencil case for school. These erasers by Faber Castell have benefits those other ones don't. The ability to just roll it across a sketch eliminating layers of the sketch no longer needed leaving a light image perfect for guiding your line art. No annoying dust or eraser particles ever! That's nice.

Pliable enough to make it easier than most others. Ability to mold to shapes to fit certain areas is good the pliabilitydies compriseit a bit. Price is right
