Q: Can i string it eadgc instead of beadg?

You can put whatever strings/ tuning that you want, it may be a little sloppy though, as the nut is sized for the standard 5 string tuning with the low B string. Do not get this bass unless you have plans to replace the pickup as the stock one is garbage. I dropped an EMG active pickup in mine and it sounds great. Total cost after the pickup was about 320$
