250 g. White FlexiSMART 2.85 mm Flexible filament TPU for 3D Printer - Flexible filament for 3D printing - TPE filament, TPU filament, elastic filament

Information is a little limited on this filament unless you can read spanish but essentially a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) material.But to mention that I did have to add a small adaption to my Makerbot Replicator 2, by adding a small piece of thin walled plastic pipe to cover the hot end securing screw (in between the hob drive and the start of the hot end assembly) which allowed a piece of 2mm bowden tube to be inserted into it. I then trimmed the end of the bowden tube to match the profile of the hob drive diameter (as best as I could). This adaption was to improve the guiding of the filament into the hotend as like all flexible filaments they need encouragment to get pushed through small holes without buckling or wrapping around the hob gear!...I have to say that I was amazed to have this material printing on a Makerbot Replicator 2 (with added heatbed).In my setup using the heated bed (at 50 deg) gave me more confidence to use the filament but the manufacturer does state that this is not necessary and it can be printed on an unheated or untreated surface. Quality was excellent with just a few strings attached to the part after printing. Extruder temp was 220 deg and printing at 25-30 mm/sec. Layer height 0.2mm with a 0.8mm retraction. FlexiSMART has around a 80-90 shore rating from my estimation which can be a little hard for some items, but again this will need time and testing to discover the best combinations for different projects.The manufacturer does claim that this will work in most direct drive printers but as like anything in 3D printing you need to prove theclaims...I'm happy to say that with a small alteration I have now the capability of using flexible filament (I tried Ninjaflex without success) in the Replicator at last so I am very happy and can recommend FlexiSMART as a consequence.So I can highly recommend FlexiSMART

Background**************I bought this to begin experimenting with printing fingers and hands out of a combination of PLA and a flexible filament, in this case TPE.The Filament/reel***************The filament is on a very small reel, measuring just 100mm in diameter by around 56/57 mm deep (it kinda has a ridge on the reel)Centre hole is a very small 16.8 mm.I generally found the TPE measured at 1.67mm so be warned.Printing*********I don't have a flexion extruder, so simply printed on my Dreeml 3D40 using the stock head.No heated bed.The filament was tricky to feed in, had to try a few times :(As can be seen from the image included, it took a few tries and many changes to get to a stage where I can get it to print.Settings I used******************190 degrees CBuild Speed 30 mm/sTravel Speed 40mm/sShells 4Layer Height 0.1I will continue trying.With my basic Dremel software, I have limited control at this point, but will try again over the coming week using Autodesk Print Studio (It stopped working with Windows Creator Edition, a known problem)The final print is a lovely flexible material.Any questions, let me know, hope the images help, will put some more up as I work with it more.Sarah

I almost gave up trying to make this work with a bowden setup until as a last resort, I backed my extruder spring tension all the way to the minimum. Suddenly, I could print this reliably at 50mm/s with 3mm and 40mm/s retraction!! Once I figured this out, this has been an absolutely amazing filament and have gone through almost one full roll with nothing but joy.The flexibility really depends on flow rate, number of walls and infill. At 100% flow rate with 2 walls and 15% infill, the parts can pretty much be flattened and they spring back to shape, with the walls behaving almost like an uninflated balloon. However, if you crank up the flow to 120% and 100% infill, it's almost like a car tyre.Also worth noting, it will string A LOT if stored without silica gel on a sealed container.All in all, a versatile material I will always keep around from now on.

Used this to print tyres for the Open RC F1 project car. Very pleased. First tyre was very hard so reduced the infill to 10% still a little hard but OK, should be able to go lower. Printed on a BQ Hephestos 2 which has a direct drive (not bowden) extruder designed for flexible filament, used the same setting as standard PLA and it printed great.

Got this for printing tyres for my OpenRC-F1 car, does a great job. I printed it with the same settings as PLA, with a wall thickness of 0.8mm - it came out really well printed, no clogging problems. the tyre ended up slightly too soft, but that was a test print to see what this stuff was like, as I haven't used it before. I'm going to do the tyres again with a 2mm wall thickness, I'm sure they will be great!

This filament is easy to use but it will be a lot of string and blobs to clean up before you use the printed object. Flexibility is almost like Ninjaflex and it works fine with my Gopro Hero5 session on my quads. I'm happy with it. My printer Wanhao Duplicator i3 plus is upgrade with Micro Swiss every thing around extruder and Smothers but newer got the perfect print with FlexiSmart like Pla but close enough to make me happy. I got a usable print in first try! That's not bad at all! Color?? Red? More like orange/red in my eyes but it still worth to give this filament a try.

Wasn't expecting this to work as I haven't been able to get any flexible filaments working on my stock CR-10S. Works great though, I didn't get sent any guides or profiles though which is disappointing. I'm printing it really slow, 20mm/s.Need to do some more testing but I will be trying more for sure.

A little expensive but I do love the results. Even using a Bowden system, Ender 3, it worked well after some fiddling. Turn off retraction and 30/40 mm/s and it printed like a dream. Almost invisible side layers, used a very low infill that was horizontal and it gives a great stiffness in that axis but it's study and squishy in the others.

Non pensavo fosse cosi' flessibile invece è OK .Stampa un materiale tipo siliconico, come le cover dei cellulari .Ne ho preso 250 g giusto per provare ( e infatti l'unico colore disponibile era il marrone, chiamato rame) e sicuramente una volta finito ne prendero' ancora . Sono riuscito anche a verniciarci sopra discretamente con smalti all'acqua che seguono ottimamente la flessibilità del prodotto. Per immettere il filamento da 1.75 mm nel foro dell'hot-end della mia REPRAP ho tagliato un pezzo di sezione della cima del filamento rendendolo più ''affilato''. Stampo con 250 gradi di Hot-End e 60 gradi il piatto .

Este filamento es una maravilla. No me esperaba ni la calidad final que se obtiene ni la facilidad para imprimirlo, pero es que ha sido coser y cantar desde que lo he puesto en la impresora y eso que tengo una Anet A8 con el extrusor de serie que en teoría no está preparado para la extrusión de filamentos flexibles de este tipo. Extruyendo a 210 grados y a una velocidad máxima de 20mm/s, la calidad final es muy satisfactoria. Ni siquiera hace falta cama caliente (aunque ayuda si la subes a 50º) y te puedes olvidar de la laca para adherir la primera capa, no hace falta. El resultado final es muy resistente a la abrasión y deformación, no se rompe fácil y si son piezas finas no demasiado gruesas se puede estirar (no demasiado) y recupera bien su forma original. Es ideal para hacer piezas que no requieran retracción, ya que al menos con este extrusor no lo admite y provoca mucho "oozing" en caso de que el cabezal salte a distintas posiciones durante la impresión.

Compré el filamento ya que quería experimentar con otro tipo de filamento de impresión. Habitualmente uso PLA, y quería probar algo flexible. Encontré este filamento en Amazon de casualidad y me decidí a probarlo porque era una bobina pequeña y asequible.Después de hacer unas cuantas pruebas, he conseguido hacer una impresión bastante buena, consiguiendo un efecto diferente con el filamento flexible.Después de ller en algún foro, me imprimí una pieza para mantener tenso el filamento, y ha salido todo bastante bien.Puedes descargar los perfiles de los slicers en la web del fabricante, algo que agradecí, ya que al principio estaba un poco perdido sobre los parámetros de impresión adecuados.El envío perfecto, a tiempo y sin ningún probema.

Buen filamento. Lo utilizo para imprimir ruedas de goma para aviones rc. Con un 35% de relleno ya queda un neumatico durillo. Facil de imprimir, sin atascos. En un principio tuve problemas pues se atascaba facil, pero el error estaba en mi extrusora. Para que no se atasque hay que poner cuidado en que el filamento vaya guiado totalmente desde el extrusor al hotend. En mi caso la seccion del extrusor donde se suele atornillar el adaptador neumatico de salida estaba vacio por haber modificado la impresora de bowden a directo, por lo que habia demasiado hueco en el cual es facil que el filamento doble y genere atasco. Para corregirlo simplemente corte un trozo de tubo ptfe (1cm) y lo meti en dicho hueco, y problema solucionado. Por lo demas todo ok. El filamento se pega terriblemente bien a la cama, incluso sin calentar. Se puede imprimir a 50mms sin problema. La retraccion segun fabricante hay que ajustarla muy baja, pero yo la pongo a 5mm y sin problema, y puede que admita mas, pero eso ya depende mas del extrusor. El resto de paramentros pues como el pla, temperatura incluida.

Premesso che è il mio primo filamento flessibile, provato su una Wanhao duplicator 3 con estrusore Mk10 modificato.Il filamento è ottimo, tiene bene i parametri e ha pregi e difetti che ci si aspetta da un filamento TPU: morbido, flessibile, piacevole al tatto, abbastanza tollerante con la temperatura, ottima adesione (anche troppa); necessita di un estrusore adatto (con il mk10 senza tubo in teflon ha grippato), va stampato preferibilmente moooooolto lentamente (20mm/s), e cola che è un piacere (si fa per dire).Il colore è brillante, acceso.La rolla da 250g è un'ottima alternativa per chi stampa per hobby, si possono fare prove senza salassi. Al prezzo considerato ne prenderò senz'altro delle altre.

Mala experiencia, casi todos los filamento vienen envasados al vacío y una bolsita de sílice dentro para atrapar la humedad pero en este caso se ve que al envasar la bobina se rompió la bolsita de silice y estaba toda la bobina cubierta de una especie de polvo tipo sal.Cómo la necesitaba urgentemente decidí desperdiciar parte de la bobina donde estaba más manchada del silice y me dispuse a imprimir lo cual fue muy mala idea porque se ve que aún quedaban restos y se me atranco el extrusor. Total, media tarde pérdida xq al final tuve que salir corriendo a una tienda local a comprar TPU, una pena porque el filamento no tenía mala pinta.

Me ha parecido un producto el cual probé en versión de 250gr y ahora solo compro esta marca en bobinas de 1Kg. Seguramente las encuentre de menos precio pero prefiero ir a lo conocido y que no me de problemas. En la configuración de impresión uso la misma temperatura (215º) y configuración que el PLA y no me da ningún problema*VENTAJAS:- Calidad, durabilidad y aspecto excelente- Material que no necesita configuraciones especiales, uso las mismas que en PLA- No huele y tiene una resistencia increíblemente buena*DESVENTAJAS:- Se pega increíblemente fuerte a la cama caliente, pero me parece que pasa con todas las marcas de TPU

Das ist mein erster Versuch mit flexiblem Filament. Hatte etwas Bedenken, da ich keinen speziellen Extruder für flexibles Filament habe. Ich arbeite mit einem Flashforge Creator Pro mit den Standardextrudern. Damit funktioniert das aber einwandfrei. Das Druckergebnis ist sehr gut. Ich bin jedenfalls begeistert, wie gut es sich drucken lässt und wie elastisch das Material ist. Drucktemperatur bei mir ist 200° und das Druckbett habe ich mal auf 60° gestellt. Soll laut Anleitung auch mit kaltem Druckbett gehen, aber das hat bei mir (drucke auf Glas) nicht gut geklappt. Lag aber vielleicht auch daran, dass es ein sehr kleines Teil als erster test war. Jedenfalls passt es mit 60 Grad auf Glas und es lässt sich dann auch leicht wieder vom Druckbett lösen.

Ottimo filamento, resistente, si estrude bene senza difficoltà e nasconde bene i layers. Ho dovuto solamente disattivare il retracting perchè il filamento mi si piegava nell'estrusore e si inceppava.L'imballo è ottimo, il filamento è sottovuoto con bustine disidratanti all'interno.Unica nota negativa per la quale non ho dato 5 stelle è il cambiamento di colore nell'estrusione: da arancione intenso diventa giallo per poi trasformarsi in arancione scolorito una volta raffreddato. Non so se sia solo il mio ad essere difettoso.

Muy bien en todos los aspectos.El material es una gozada .Fácil de imprimir en mi Prusa MK2 con los settings que proporciona el fabricante en su página web.Por cierto una web muy bien diseñada con una ergonomía de uso y claridad de información que ya quisieran otras.El material es fácil de imprimir y da mucho juego a la hora de crear juntas, silent blocks, neumáticos rc, etc.

Hier gibt es nichts zu bemängeln...Ware Top, schnelle und gut verpackte Lieferung wie man es erwarten würde....Für etwaige Problemebeim Druck selbst, kann der Hersteller des Produkts nun mal nichts und somit 5 von 5 Sternen.Würde es und werde es vermutlich auch wieder kaufen, nächstes mal vielleicht größere Spule damit Preis-Leistungsverhältnis besser wird aber man versucht sein Hobby halt so günstig wie möglich zu halten, möchte aber gleichzeitig alle Materialien und alle Farben besitzen....das kostet Zeit und Geld....

Filamento resistente, nonostante la grande flessibilità. Con la mia Prusa i3 Pro B sono riuscita a stampare benissimo e senza grossi problemi. È necessario consultare il sito indicato e scaricare i parametri indicati per il programma di slicing. Io ho stampato a layer 0.2, print speed 35mm/s, infill 20%, 210 gradi e SENZA ritrazione (rischia di bloccarsi altrimenti). Altro accorgimento è fare in modo che il filamento arrivi sempre in verticale nell'estrusore, aiutandosi con delle guide magari.Insomma, ottimo prodotto, ma il prezzo è però piuttosto alto...

Es un filamento genial! Es flexible pero a la vez fácil de imprimir. Lo imprimió a 220 grados sin cama caliente y queda perfecto lo único que hay que tener en cuenta es quitar la retracción y poner una velocidad de impresión baja. Es el primer filamento flexible que he utilizado y la verdad es que estoy muy satisfecho con él.

Material flexible pero poco estirable (tipo correa), al ser blando en su formato original de filamento se atasca con facilidad y a 200 grados centigrados que es lo recomendable en algunas ocasiones no termina de fusionar bien entre capas aunque realizando una calibración muy justa se puede conseguir la pieza deseada. Quizás sea más recomendado para personas con cierta experiencia en la materia.

Se imprime sin problemas, segun la configuracion que puedes descargar de la pagina de soporte, dependiendo de la impresora necesitas un pequeño ajuste (en mi caso la cama caliente) y listo,Imprimo en una wanhao i3, con unapequeña modificacion en la entrada del filamento al hotend y sin problemas
