i had to chuck this face wash away it had a very strong smell of tea tree and my skin had a bad reaction to this face wash

Does a splendid job of cleaning my oily face.

Updated: 5/31/2017I've been using this for about 2-3 weeks. I must say, it is pretty great. My break outs have stopped/have come less often. My face feels smooth, as in no bumps. I do use a moisturizer afterwards, because my skin does get very dry, but that isn't just the cleanser's fault. The only problem that has arised is the cleanser clumps inside the pump making it hard to pump out.Well. I just got this today, so I will update after a couple of weeks.Anyway. I love the scent of this! So much less in your face than the original. It also isn't as drying. However, it does feel like it is dry when you wash it off. I think that's the "thoroughly clean" part. So it really cleans off everything.My only complaint is the fact that it's so watery. However, it still lathers just as good as anything else.

I love this brand! I've been using a similar facewash from this line for years, thought I'd switch it up a little. This one leaves my face, neck, ears feeling clean, oil & breakout free!

I used to use the regular desert essence face wash with tea tree oil, and was looking for some thing with tea tree oil that might be less harsh as my skin is more dry now. This is fine for that but I don’t love it because it has a weird smell and every single day when I use it the pump has clogged because the product dries out in the pump overnight. That’s kind of a little thing, but I feel like every time I use it, it squirts out a little glycerin plug (like a soap booger) and the liquid soap trying to get past that makes a mess.

I love products which has tea tree oil! Yes, the smell of tea tree is strong and sometime not bearable, but it's great for zits and oily skin girlies like me. That's why is got this face wash which contain Tea Tree Oil and Sea Kelp. And after washing my face; I tone it with witch hazel (another great oil controller), then mix a little sweet almond oil with a tiny amount of tea tree oil and rub it in round circles all over my face. It also helps at controlling oil! So, I will always recommend it.
