These large jars are perfect for storing everything from flour and sugar to pickled eggs and rice. The 192 oz capacity allows me to stock up on bulk items, reducing the need for frequent trips to the store. Using for pickled eggs. The jars are spacious and quite sturdy. Rather heavy. The seal is removable, nice to keep things clean! Various usage! Be careful not to carry by handle, one was off after unpacking and doesn’t feel very secure. Otherwise, they are still handy!

I love these oversized jars. It is not immediately apparent from the picture, but these jars are square shaped, which I love for storage purposes. Obviously much less wasted space on the shelves with square containers rather than round. The clasp style closer is tight and super secure. When I ordered the jars I thought the handle was kind of silly, but it actually is pretty functional because the jars are large and get heavy when full. Nice to have the secure handle to grasp on top and a hand on bottom to prevent any accidents.I use large jars for many of my fermentation projects, such as making vinegars, sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles, garum, miso, and amino sauces. The extra space in this 1.5 gallon jar works great as often my ferments swell or expand during the fermentation process. I have suffered multiple minor catastrophes as a result filling gallon jars to the top, but I hate to throw out food to prevent from overfilling my jars. The extra capacity in these jars will give me the margin of error that I need. Once the ferment is complete the airtight seal on these jars will keep my preserved shelf stable foods safe. These jars would be great for storing dry goods in the pantry also.
