Better than dorai
I love diatomaceous earth. I have a diatomaceous earth bath mat. A friend gifted me the dorai dish pad (diatomaceous earth again). I use diatomaceous earth with a duster to keep away bugs from my garden. It's awesome and it dries so quickly.I can offer my opinion of this mat versus the dorai (which appears to be the most popular type of these dish mats). Both mats fold up easily, but the problem with dorai is that the rubber parts holding it together get dirty over time. It's an inconvenience for me to take the rubber off for cleaning purposes. This one avoids that issue! I love it for that reason. It's also slightly larger than the dorai (and cheaper).

Perfection!
So chic and it works so well! I got this for my Daughter who didn't want a bulky dish strainer on her counter. Everyone compliments her on it when they see it!

Great if you can keep it clean
Works well and looked great when it was new but stains very easily. Anything other than water on it has created a stain that I haven’t been able to remove. If you can be careful enough to never place unclean things on it I’m sure it’s perfect

Stains easily, not as absorbent as reported
I’ve had this product for almost 2 months. I think I’ll go back to a clean dish towel on the counter. The stone is connected with a sheet of vinyl, there’s about 3/8” between each piece. When I’m ready to put away the dishes I’ve washed, the dishes are dry., but I can dump about a half cup of water back into the sink from the spaces. Then when I lift up the mat, there’s water on the counter and the back of the mat. I tried putting a dish towel under the mat, but it’s drenched in a day or two. As for the stains, if a drop of diluted coffee falls on the surface, it’s there to stay. I wish I had paid attention sooner, I would have returned it!

Beautiful kitchen must have!
The media could not be loaded. A beautiful kitchen upgrade! I was surprised at how adsorbent the stone is! I expected there to be water on the counter but to my surprise all the water had been absorbed. Not only does it absorb water quickly but it dries fast!!! It helps dishes to dry faster than laying them on a towel or plastic dish rack to dry. The rack looks so pretty as compared to clunky large drying racks and its stain resistant! If you don’t want to leave it on your counter it rolls up to save space when stored. Highly recommend upgrading to a stone drying pad!!!

Nice quality
A lot bigger than anticipated. Takes up lots of room on counter top. Dries quickly. Like that it rolls up for easy storage

Stains easily
I wanted to love this so bad. First impression it looks great on my counter and absorbs water like it suggests but it stains so easily and it is impossible to clean. I find the best at getting it to stay white is bleaching it every time something stains. I have to put a dish towel on top to prevent stains from occurring so it sort of defeats the purpose. Next order I will try a darker color

Looks nice but isn’t good for a functional kitchen
Very high maintenance. If you’re a cook who uses her kitchen a lot, I’d skip this mat. It looked nice next to the sink for about 1 day, then it gets dirty and chipped. Yes, it dries quickly, but it also easily stains with coffee, wine, etc. I had to go back to using a silicone mat.
