Artisanal deliciousness
I rarely write reviews but this product impressed me from the minute I removed it from the shipping box. The panettone was packed in a separate box. Once opened, I was quite surprised to see the panettone along with a gift bag and ribbon from Fisconaro in case I was planning to gift it to someone. How thoughtful! The Panettone itself is soft, springy and luscious. The raisins are large, fresh and plump. The flavors are a magical blend of traditional ingredients with a hint of orange. This is a premiere quality panettone. Indulge yourself and give this a try the next time you crave panettone.

Incredibly rich, decadent, and cozy
Tastes like childhood. This is an incredible quality panettone. The texture of the bread is so light and fluffy, like a cloud. The candied orange peels are larger than in other panettone, so you can actually see the texture of the peel and distinction between the pith and peel layers. It’s worth getting.

One of the best Panettones!
I enjoy panettone and have tasted many over the years. The Fiasconaro Panettone Traditional version is excellent and one of the best I've experienced. It was fresh with plenty of raisins and dried fruit, a nice fragrance and a very soft, moist and pillowy texture. The cost was much higher than your average supermarket panettone but the quality is superior.

Not the best, but very good!
I lived in Italy for years and know panettone. The BEST panettone you can buy is made by a company called Loison, and they do ship worldwide. If you want to find them, I'm sure you can in 2 seconds. Their panettone and pandoro is handmade and they only use the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Unfortunately, they have minimum orders and when shipping from Italy, you might not get what you want in time. It's during times like that when you need a backup, and my backup is Fiasconaro. It's not the best panettone, but it's very, very good, and absolutely acceptable to serve. Delicate texture, moist, and tastes a little like heaven. To say this is cake is really a misnomer, but that's the closest thing it resembles, doesn't it? It's always a delight to have panettone... An excellent way to add some Italian culture to your Christmas. I've found many American-Italian's don't even know about this delight, and what an excellent gift it is to give those folks. Goes GREAT with a bottle of Prosecco if you can find it! Prosecco is like Italian champagne, but doesn't come with a champagne price. You can probably find a bottle for $9-12 in the US, or 3 euro in Italy straight from the winery. If you have the time and extra cash, you can't beat Loison! Want to know how good they are? They supplied the panettone for the Royal Wedding. Yup, although most people associate panettone with Christmas, you can get it year-round and have it for any number of special celebrations! If you have any questions, please ask in the comments and I'll try and respond promptly. Grazie mille! Ciao Ciao!

Seriously overpriced
I had high expectations for this panettone given all the rave reviews. What does a $45 panettone taste like? Does it have more dried fruit? Does it have an amazing flavor? Is it moist? What makes it so special?I may be a plebian piker but the answer is that this is a good panettone but it is not superior to the panettone I buy at Trader Joes for less than half the price. I am very disappointed. There is not much dried fruit in it. Yes, it is moist, and well packaged but for the money it should be. I like to toast my panettone and also to make it into bread pudding and french toast. I will never buy this level of panettone again. NOT WORTH IT
