Simple grafting "tape" - no adhesive.
I only know the things about grafting that I have seen on YouTube. I know that keeping the cut edges together is very important and keeping them from getting rot or drying out is also important. This seems to do the trick. It's more like a plastic wrap, which is nice, for not having to try to cut off super sticky tape later or it just falling off because the glue dried up in the weather. It stretches and bends, so super helpful in the wind, and as the juncture grows bark over the joint and needs to stretch the tape. It is clear, so doesn't make unsightly marks in your garden/orchard. I wish it came with more instructions.

Tough to cut
The tapes stickiness is fine. But it is very tough to cut in a tape dispenser.

plastic-wrap type, clear, tape - holds moisture
Not sure what exactly this tape is made from - description does not say. It looks and feels like plastic wrap, like the boxed roll of stuff you use in the kitchen. It's some sort of clear plastic film. As such, it's PLASTIC. You will want to remove it after the grafts are healed. It will stretch some, it will self adhere for the most part. There are a lot of other grafting tapes of this style/kind being used. I've never used this type before. I'm not ready to do my next batch of grafting yet, and am looking forward to trying this out. Meanwhile, doing a quick test, I can say it performs exactly like I'd expect food service wrap to perform. It will hold moisture and let sun in, obviously, which is good for grafting roses (what I'm going to use it for). Seems like it will hold up well. And I don't mind having to go back and remove the plastic from the grafts at a later date. So far, the product seems to be made well, exactly as described (clear not white).
