The truth in the mini PC game.
After trying another company that makes "fanless" mini pc's and both of them having issues like shipping with a dead bios battery, both BTW. They both, in due time went to crap because of file corruption ' I think because of overheating. Support was horrible. I ALWAYS had a ryobi 4v clip fan on them hey were cheap and well made little boards but despite always having a fan they had both had issues within a month.Onto the Gole2 pro. Made similar to an apple product quality and with the run of the mill PC tasks' as fast as my My Mac Mini 2020. Now with that said I don't think it could touch my Mac.Mini when it was encoding video.Because if you put a little pressure on this thing And it' winces a little with pain lol. If you adjust a couple settings in Bios with 16mb of RAM for mundane tasks it's more than plenty. I haven't had it long but so far impressed and I like it so much I said screw it I'm going in there to see if I can find something upgradeable. The board is literally marked by the same company selling it and also possibly individual serial number on board. It's about twice as much as the Mele's but because of the fan which Is brushless BTW. I think it's going to hold up atleast into the months category. Some say novelty nope it's perfect for me because I just run HDMI to a big screen TV and take a keyboard and mouse with. The touch screen does work and you can scale it a little but it's still so small. The picture though is tremendous for this price. Get one now because I have this and the Galaxy s24 ultra and there more than enough unless I was editing video. Not sure how this little guy would handle video and encoding because of the celeron. Even today seventy five percent of your users couldn't push this computer to what it's capable of. This price is just tremendous. I'm loading Adobe after-effects right now.Tonight I will update my review on how it acts with that.Downsides Support as usual.I sent them an email about something I.Still haven't got a reply. That was like a week ago. The only other downside that I could find Is the little slits for the air holes? Not having a little bit of mesh on it.Maybe because It will gunk up eventually but easy to clean. Heat os death to these little guys.I love this thing . if you wanted to run a little bit quicker , turn off the touch screen in the windows settings and just run it to the h d m I does seem to be quicker when you turn off that other monitor. I'm still not sure About the u s b c data port and them saying that it's triple function. I'm not even gonna plug a jump pack into it.Cause I don't want to f*** it up.I like it too much. Battery life projected estimate seems accurate ' couple hours But like I said I think a bigger one could be fit in there and maybe even five thousand milliamp. Just ordered platinum SK Hynix Nand 1TB SSD and will update in regards to running a lean version of win 11 or 8.1 embedded. The battery is attached to the rear plate so if you open it up go slow.Update 10/14/2024Support with this seller is Excellent! They did get back to me right through email and they have been extremely responsive and supportive to questions. In regards to Adobe After effects, I think the PC would have enough cajones to run it but according to support and me attempting to install , it will not run it but there 7in version will. This is a great seller who will support you through problems and if not resolved they stand by the product and will do what they need to make you happy. Just give them time to respond to the emails. PC is not a novelty , it runs quick and fast although smaller battery will deplete quicker on performance settings it is WELL made. Hooking it up to HDMI out often does not phase it and it cools properly and doesn't get hot. I still think this little thing is a bargain and for my work on the move often its perfect.

It doesnt work
What an amazing idea. A full computer in this size and form factor. Too bad its glitchy and the screen is way too small. I just wanted to use it as an MP3 player and it could not even do that.

Worked great till the update.
I like this little computer. I had all you need to work on the go (if all you need is docs, Internet and some light stuff like that). Has good ports, good integration with enough ports for peripherals. Good memory, good built in mini screen, and storage. Overall it is handy and imwould but again. But, I installed a required upgrade and it loaded into bios and would not exit. So imhad to return it. Will keep an eye out for a good deal on one and definitely get it again.

Nice Upgrade from the GOLE1-01
Finally a full featured USB C! Yes, you can charge the device with it now. You do loose the second physical HDMI port but USB C is a very welcome trade. This model is just a little thicker than the previous one to make room for the cooling vents and fan. The fan is borderline obscenely loud and very much the worst part of the upgrade. I realize it needs a fan but this one is the loudest one I’ve heard in a while. Build quality seems great and the new one is the same color and aluminum shell as last year. The SoC is upgraded as well as the wireless card and RAM capacity. This year we also get up to 256GB of storage. I am hearing it’s SSD but I’m not sure as there barely a handful of information on these little guys on the entire Internet. The addition of the fan eliminates the over heating that last gen suffered from.In addition to the incredible I/O offering these units have, there seems to be a reset button on the new model. I haven’t pushed it and I don’t want to. The power button has been moved from the front of the display to the upper right. In practice, I’m finding this to be one of the worst places for the power button as your fingers naturally grip the unit there while in your hands. I have accidentally turned this new machine off multiple times. There is a very ugly warranty void sticker just sticking across the bottom edge keeping you from opening up the unit. The sticker is crooked and out of place and looks like a bandaid on an otherwise svelte device. There is no chance I will leave it on. I am trying to overlook it but it may come off right after I write this review. Bottom line, if you were a fan of last years model, then this years model is even better and improves on nearly every issue the previous model had. Next year I really want to see a webcam added, better battery, and a better display (OLED?)

This is a novelty at best. Perhaps a low profile file/print server
I bought this with the intent of building a good portable entertainment system for on the road. I paired it with a good 1TB Microsd card. This was mildly successful, as it worked the way I intended, but it still comes off as underpowered. Underpowered to the point that the wifi is BARELY enough. Even wired, it still has struggles. In the end, this now powers my 70" TV paired with a Bluetooth keyboard/trackpad. It is more than sufficient for it's task. Now, when I sit down and run the numbers on the cost of this item vs. what I could have bought to do the same job, it is lacking severely. Also, the system does indeed run very very hot. I'm certain this will have a negative effect on the life of the system.I did, in fact, buy two of these systems, and on one of the systems there was a chinese antivirus app I could not remove. So I reinstalled the OS and spent a few hours tracking down all of the drivers. Even after getting the correct touchscreen driver installed, the touchscreen does not work.Forget finding support for this item, I spent several hours trying to find any and was unsuccessful. This is not an item I would recommend to anyone other than as a novelty device.
