Have been buying this detergent for 3 or 4 years.Have been ordering from Amazon since then. Amazing cleaning power and great smell. Never used another detergent eversince.

Being from UK I have used many different types and brands here in US. However, the Persil detergent powder is hands down the most effective for cleaning and sanitizing. Fragrance is just soap, not perfume. Works exceptionally well so great value for money. Liquid is only option in US grocery stores but developed for US market so too highly fragranced. Liquid version is effective but powder is still much better for removing stains and odour.

I purchased this specific soap powder on the advice of my Dermatologist. I wanted to have some experience with using it before I wrote my review. This soap powder, from Germany, is just not like any detergent I've ever used - I have always been a "Tide/Chlorox/Bounce" purchaser - NOT ANYMORE! My clothes came out soft, white, CLEAN! I mean, CLEAN! Old stains not removed in prior laundering came out with Persil Powder! I used the wool dryer balls instead of a dryer sheet. Together, my clothes look and feel like new! There are no English instructions, but I used between 1/2 cup and for the whites, I used a bit more. While this detergent is expensive at first glance, it really isn't when you factor in not having to use softeners and bleach. I cannot recommend this product highly enough - I especially recommend it to anyone who has sensitive skin or allergies as I do. I hope to not ever buy any other laundry detergent!

This is the best, most planet-friendly laundry detergent I’ve ever used. The packing is all sturdy cardboard. The instructions are only in German, and only large boxes were available. I love it anyway. It leaves no smell and gets out the dirt and smell already in there. In a front loader, I use less than a half cup. Why can’t American Persil be like this?

Powder persil is my go to detergent and after trial and error, this is the real thing. Only need 1/2 cup for full load. No overpowering scent. Clothes are clean and colors preserved.

I was searching for a laundry detergent that would smell good and make the clothes clean. I read about perisil from Germany and ordered it. I think it works great.

My favorite laundry detergent. Cleans perfectly and love that I can buy the powder- hopefully better for the environment.
