Did not know these things existed and had tried 3 different bluetooth adapters recently as my car does not have bluetooth audio, all with poor results.The HOTPEAK CarPlay screen has solved this problem and many others with one easy setup.Everything was well packaged and had all the necessary cables, mounts and adapters needed for easy setup. On powering on, it went straight to the main menu, CarPlay selected and I was connected with my iPhone in minutes. From there I just had to set audio output to aux and hook up to the aux in on my car.The screen is big, easy to see and is pretty responsive, far far easier than touching a tiny phone screen when you want to skip tracks or get sat nav up and running.I have been using it for my daily commutes for the last 4 days and it has so far worked perfectly, It boots up quickly and automatically connects with my phone every time. Satnav works perfectly as does YouTube music , the 2 main things I wanted it for.As I dont have a dash cam, it was also a welcome addition and initial impressions are very good, super clear recording and it automatically starts without issue. I have yet to install the reverse camera and undecided if I will yet but having it included in the box is a plus.What I love about it is that I can just keep my phone in my pocket and this screen just powers on and handles everything automatically, music, dash cam, sat nav and calls/messages all in one convenient screen.So glad I found it!

However lack of auto dimming when using Android Auto lets it down abit unfortunately.5/5 delivery/dispatch time & packaging5/5 overall item/accessory quality4/5 functionality (no auto dimming on Android Auto)5/5 ease of use, setup & documentationThe only product flaw I could find was the lack of display auto dimming which seems to be for every or most other option except for Android Auto, this means as the time changes you need to adjust the brightness manually which can be changed with a shortcut on screen which leads to 3 options (Exit, Audio Output & Brightness)I like that when wanting to keep functionality of steering wheel controls you can choose to connect to your car via BT (instead of Aux) which seems to access it through your phone alongside the product itself. This isn't an isuse for most phones nowadays as you can have multiple devices connected at once with no or relatively minor issues.I also like that you have an option to rotate the screen to landscape or portrait, depending on mounting location.For mounting, you have 3 options:A suction cup mount for the windscreen.A very strong disc (very rigid) with tape for mounting on the dashboard and the suction cup locks onto the disc.Or a mag safe vent mount which is also very strong and seems to hold/stay well when tightened.Final thoughts are that it is a very good item with minimal flaws (especially if you can look past the auto dimming, or have an Apple Carplay device) and is very good value.
