Maybelline Purple Mascara, Lash Sensational Sky High Volumizing & Thickening, Eyelash Lengthening, Flake-Free Formula, Washable Coloured Mascara, Full Volume Mascara, Colour: Plum Twilight

I recently tried the Maybelline Sky High Mascara in the shade Very Black, and I must say it lives up to its name. I have naturally straight, medium-length lashes, and I’ve always struggled to find a mascara that gives both length and volume without clumping or weighing my lashes down. This one surprised me!The brush is flexible and shaped perfectly to catch even the tiniest corner lashes. From the first coat, I noticed an instant lift and separation. After the second coat, my lashes looked noticeably longer and fuller — almost like I was wearing natural falsies, but without the hassle.What really stood out to me is the formula. It’s infused with bamboo extract and fibres, which makes it feel very lightweight on the lashes. Even after wearing it all day, I experienced no smudging, flaking, or irritation, and it was easy to remove with a gentle cleanser. I also have sensitive eyes and sometimes wear contacts, but this mascara didn’t cause any discomfort at all.One small downside is that if you apply more than two thick coats, it can make the lashes feel slightly stiff. So I recommend building it up gradually for the best effect. Also, the packaging is very basic-looking, but the performance totally makes up for it.Overall, this is one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve used — and I’ve tried many! It delivers beautiful, fluttery lashes that hold all day. Highly recommended if you want bold length and volume without the clumps or smears.

Best burgundy mascara so far! So I did give a couple of smaller brands a chance before ordering from Maybelline but honestly, sometimes brands get big for a reason. There's plenty of product in the tube and the applicator's the best I've seen on the market in a while - it leaves your lashes perfectly separated and curly, no clumpiness, no accidental panda eyes, no struggle to pick up product from the tube.With that said, a couple of things to keep in mind:1. While the mascara looks a lovely purple colour in the tube, it will dry looking somewhat black (not a huge issue on my end but good to know)2. It doesn't do as well on top of lash primer. While the applicator will work wonders on your bare lashes, if you use primer like I do most days, you'll need plenty of extra time and patience to ensure a good level of coverageHowever, even with the above in mind, I would definitely recommend. :)

Burgundy mascara, much better on mature faces than black!Not the best mascara I've ever used, but definitely the best colour, which is why I will keep buying..Tendency to 'clump' after a while, costs slightly more than I would pay for this quality.Given the price point, I would expect a better quality. Non irritating and easy to use.

I chose the burgundy colour because I have blue eyes, I read online that it makes blue eyes pop. Deffo the best colour choice for me, I’ll never wear black mascara now! Doesn’t look fake and clumpy, couple of layers and it makes my lashes look so much longer and fuller, nice skinny brush, and easy to take off also, doesn’t cling on to lashes when trying to remove. My new go to mascara!

This is such a great mascara and has become our go-to favourite in our house. Myself and my teenage daughters all use this product and I look out for sales to keep a regular supply at a great price. The mascara gives great length and is buildable without any clumping. No flaking and lasts really well from day to night. We get the black but I’ve accidentally bought the brown before and was happy to use it.My daughters school has a “no fake lashes” policy and one day my daughter had to prove these were her real lashes not fake ones as the product is so good! Highly recommend.

It wasnt sealed and it seems a bit dry, i have previously purchased about year ago but i was happy hence why i bought it again. Im a bit wary that it wasnt sealed so we shall see. If im happy with the product then il change my review of 3 stars.

This is hands down the best mascara I've ever used! It gives my lashes incredible volume, length, and definition without clumping or flaking. The formula is super lightweight but still makes my lashes look bold and lifted all day. I get so many complIments and I order it every single time I run out. Buy it!

It does give your eyelashes great length but it's a bit messy until your about halfway through the tube. Too much comes out on the brush, if you try to apply it without removing any off the brush your lashes will clump but it creates a mess when you try to scrape it off on the tube itself. When there's less product to work with it's a great mascara. Minimal flaking
