These bottles worked well - I haven’t tried cleaning them yet - I would think you need a pipe cleaning brush to get a good clean inside the bottleI just boiled water and poured it in before my first useThey are very sturdy bottles and the flip top works very wellMade lovely Kombucha

These are really nice bottles that I bought for the secondary fermentation of kombucha. They are maybe not the cheapest but will last for a long time and are a pleasure to use. They came with some labels, spare seals and a chalk pen, which is great for writing the contents on the bottle and looks good. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend.

I have used these for home brew and the bottles seal well. I like the stainless clips which look as if they will last. The bottle seals well. Quite expensive but worth it.

Perfect for kombucha. It's nice to spend a bit more on these to know they aren't going to explode! Booch comes out great after F2 in these.The kit said it came with a chalk pen but mine didn't, but I didn't need the labels anyway. Used these multiple times and holding up with no issue. The topper is nice and secure.

I bought these to carbonate and flavour my kombucha. Works really well for this purpose, except can be slightly messy when pouring (might be user error). The labels are useful but the pen doesn’t rub out that easily so I haven’t continued to use them.
