Ok toy wheel.
Received today I tested it promptly just as a potter wheel without the extra parts added.I hade 4 c batteries on hand so I used those. I’ll test again with new batteries next time. It’s a two speed toy pottery wheel. It goes slow and slightly less slow. It is battery operated so it can only handle small amounts of very soft clay. If you press firmly on clay wheel slows dramatically (Just my observations)The clay that was included was dried out so I put it aside and used an air dry lightweight clay, and a soft air dry clay of unknown brand that I had on hand. Here are pics of what I made.As long as your clay is consistently soft (and maybe you atleast watch a basic demo on how to throw a basic form on a potters wheel) you should be able to enjoy this toy. It’s a toy and it’s a fun pottery toy if you keep that in mind folks.

Basic but works well - has storage compartment
This is a neat pottery wheel. My 9 year old has been very interested in working with air clay lately. This wheel has taken his creations to a new level. It does require 4 C batteries so make sure to have some handy. This particular wheel doesn't have a pedal like some I have come across. The control is a switch next to the wheel giving convenient access. I really like that the wheel platform has on board storage making it very functional. The molds offer a fun way to make more creations as well. Overall, this pottery wheel has a lot to offer an artsy child.

How Fun
Purchased for my grandson. We had fun making a cup. This is a messy process but he had a great time.

Great for all ages !
So much fun! It says the recommended age is 6 and up but my 4 year old is able to use it with ease and work the spinning wheel on his own. The pottery wheel set is small enough to be placed on any table and you are able to store all the tools within it. It comes with little cup/bowl molds that are perfect for first time users and the clay is easy to shape once you add enough moisture to it. This set comes with all the necessary tools any beginner could need and you are able to purchase your favorite clay to use with the wheel. The clay it comes with is an air dry clay, it took a day to fully dry and it was easy to paint. The pottery wheel is not very loud when it is on and you can hear when you are applying too much pressure. It is easy to take apart for easy cleaning and the size makes it easy to store in any closet. This has become our favorite rainy day time activity and it would make a great gift for all ages!

Good machine
We like: motorized, easy to use, plenty of tools, great price.Dislike: hardness of the clay, nothing to store the clay in, turn table could be bigger.

Creative and Kid-Friendly—A Fun, Engaging Pottery Set with Great Value
This pottery studio set turned out to be a really fun activity when we had young visitors over. It was easy to set up, and the bright, cheerful colors immediately grabbed their attention. I liked that it had no sharp edges, so I felt comfortable stepping away briefly while they played. It sparked their creativity and kept them engaged for a good stretch of time, functioning on demand every time. Definitely great value for the quality and entertainment it provides—I highly recommend it for hands-on, imaginative play.

Not impressed.
My 9 year old received this for christmas. Seemed cool but we were very disappointed. It is battery operated, which gives bare minimum spinning power even with new batteries. She could not even make a vase because it would barely spin while trying to shape clay. No she was not pressing too hard. Instructions say to use satan wrap under the clay to help with removal. That only makes the clay spin it does not hold onto spinner then. The clay it came with was not even useable. Dried up. We followed the Instructions with wet paper towels to make it pliable again. But it did not work. We had to go buy new stuff. Our advice is spend a little bit more for a plug in wheel. Skip the battery operates ones.
