Seems like a good product, but unit was damaged in shipping so can't fully try it out!
I was looking forward to receiving this AC unit since I already have a Rollibot vacuum and love it. Plus the app feature looked like a very convenient addition. However, when I picked it up at FedEx I was shocked to see the box was so damaged. The entire bottom was gone and there was a large hole in one side! The lady had mentioned this before she went to get it but said she had checked the bottom of the unit for damage and it appeared to be OK. I decided I might as well take it home and test it out.Unfortunately, the unit was cracked in multiple locations - some of the rear vent area plastic had cracked (also appears to be internal damage here), the right side molding had popped out and most importantly the vent hose ring was cracked in half and the vent hose was detached from it. I did kind of a patch-up job and was able to attach the vent ring to the unit despite the crack. Trying to attach the vent hose to the vent ring though was much more difficult since I couldn't tell if there's some way to actually re-attach it or if it had truly been damaged. There wasn't anything in the instructions, so I think it's the latter. I ended up just kind of stuffing it in there so I could at least try out some of the features. However, it's basically unusable due to the damage since it's almost impossible to keep the vent hose in the ring on the unit without something like a wall to rest it against. Really disappointing. Another problem is the window kit won't completely fit in my window. The main piece is about 25.5" wide, but my window is 28" wide so it leaves a 2.5" gap. If I add the extender piece to where it would fit, it then covers the vent hose exhaust hole! I can kind of make this work by filling it in with something else, but it seems like something I shouldn't have to do. On the plus side, I did get to try out the app feature and it worked as advertised.Ultimately, I'm just really disappointed as it seems like a good product but it just got so damaged in the shipping process to where it's basically unusable. I haven't decided yet if I'm just going to return it or exchange it for another in the hopes that the next one isn't damaged...

May need creativity, wine and tools to install if you have small windows
I love that I now have air conditioning in my home. I also love that I can control this with the app or alexa. I also chose this into four is portability, in case I want to move it to the gym or guest room. However the window kit was too long for my windows which are about 21 inches wide. Luckily I had a measuring tape and PVC saw. I sawed down the length of the outer section of the window kit to 18 inches and the inner section to about 5 inches to leave the exhaust fan opening clear. But then, closing the window on the window kit caused the bottom part of the exhaust opening to be blocked. I searched my basement for a spare scrap of wood and luckily found one that would work. I sawed it down to the right length and set the window kit on top of it.But then, coding the window on the assembly caused the kit to bow out so I had to duct tape it which I wanted to avoid since it's ugly, and also now I can't really move the unit unless I either get a duplicate window kit or move this one. I also took advice from another review to screw in the exhaust to the window kit. They didn't provide screws so I had to search through my toolbox. I also covered the extra hole in the window kit with duct tape, not sure why it's there. But now I have it all set up including the app and alexa skill and am enjoying fresh cool air. I will also install a cut off hose for draining into a bucketParts needed :- Phillips head screwdriver and screws for mounting exhaust to kit- hammer to lightly tap rear window kit piece along screw base to join to top piece- spare wood to use as spacer- wood saw (I just used the PVC saw though but don't recommend)- PVC saw- measuring tape- wine for reward- cut off hose and bucket for draining of desiredPS don't be intimidated to try this, I just didn't expect to have to do this. You might not have to depending on how your windows are.

Pretty mediocre as an air conditioning unit, and Alexa / WiFi doesn't work
To be clear, I'm reviewing the mid-tier COOL310 model. Amazon seems to have combined the reviews for the two models since nobody else has reviewed this model as of the time of this writing. This is a mediocre air conditioning unit at best, and there is zero value for the money. You should go with a cheaper unit that isn't "smart" because Alexa doesn't work anyway. The RolliCool was pretty easy to use and set up. Like reviewers have mentioned on the more expensive COOL100H model, there are some problems with the window kit. I have a smaller (24"-wide) window, and I also tried this on a more standard 36" window. Since the connector on the exhaust tube is so wide, you're likely going to have to cut the window kit. (Be sure to have a hack-saw ready.)In terms of cooling ability, I have a ~400 sqft bedroom that this is used in. It takes about 2 hours for the temperature to go from ~80F to 76F because the unit has the compressor on for about a minute, then blows the fan without the compressor for a minute or two. Maybe it's meant to save electricity, but I find it to be a really inefficient way to cool the room down, because I need to turn it on two hours before I go back upstairs to my bedroom. If the Alexa feature actually worked, this wouldn't be as big of a problem, but alas, it does not.I read through the comments on the COOL100H listing, and spent a couple of hours talking to customer service about it. Nothing worked, and customer service, nor the technical support (which you have to reach via chat) didn't even try to resolve it. They just told me to send it back to them and they would send another unit out to me. Kind of a pain in the rear, with pretty warm days ahead, and I also threw out the box.I'm going to take my own advice - buy another unit, and send this one back. It's a piece of garbage.
