Brilliant so far
I got this for our work when we are travelling in the UK.I have found the 3 network to be pretty reliable as compared to others when trying to connect in certain areas. It also is being used as a back up when we are home when the house broadband is being a bit slow( we have 2 work from home work stations both using internet). You have to walk around the house finding the areas that see the 5G signal best. This will depend on your area and it will be worth checking coverage for 3 in your area before comitting..We got a swan-neck phone holder so that we can suspend the mifi gadget in the best area for us indoors and it works pretty well and can get stupid fast download speeds when set up with 5 mhz wifi and matches the house broadband when set up as 2.4mhz (upload is better on the lower setting). You get 4g or 3g if it cant get the 5G signal for any reason. If you can afford the initial purchase price, it is very good value over the life of the sim, much much better than a monthly subscription standard sim.I had no setting up to do with it.This might be because I put it in a mobile hotspot type mifi and not in a phone but for me, it was put it in, turn it on and use it.You do need to keep tally of your useage yourself, you cant register it on 3 and see it that way.If your using a lappy with it, you can generally find a program that will do the tallying for you and some mifi gadgets will do it. Android phones can be set up to show the months data use and reset on a certain date so thats a way to do it if running through a phone.Very happy with this and hope they are still available when we need another.

Value for money
It's great for my home. It does exactly what I need it to do for my devices and the speeds are great when it comes to streaming I can't complain

So far, so good. I recommend if you have decent coverage from whichever network's SIM you purchase.
Wanted this as back-up broadband solution, and was experimenting as we are in a tricky Three 4G/5G network reception area, but the special offer tempted me to take the plunge. It has paid-off, as reception - and download speeds - are consistently very good indeed with router (or smartphone or tablet) placed on inside window-sill. I believe it can help a lot of the internal antenna to be able to 'see' the sky, and it can do so very close to the window. (That is also true here for ordinary phone calls using Three or other companies like ID Mobile or Smarty which use the Three network.)Download speeds seldom drop slightly below 100 Mbps, and are typically ~150 Mbps. Upload speeds are usually 4-5 Mbps, and enough for our needs.I haven't noticed any dramatic swings according to the time of day or day of the week, or with weather. Gales and torrential rain and hail at times haven't made any noticeable difference one way or another.Obviously if you are in a poor reception area, this is very likely not going to be your experience - so do your research with at least a couple of the reliable coverage checkers.500GB is a lot of data for one month, and, as back-up, quite sufficient this far. There is no sign of tethering or throttling or such like.I have a decent ZTE router, so data usage can be monitored through inputting the IP address for the router on my phone/tablet. The 500GB data allowance is zeroed from the 8th of each month.I'm not sure how it works, but, I'm just hoping that, before this good deal expires, Scancom either offer me a good renewal offer - I would probably renew for as long as possible at the best deal - or that good offers are still available via Amazon. So far, so good.

Sim Is Faulty or Network Has Been Throttled
If you purchase one of these cards, and like mine, it gives a very low speed, i.e. 6Mbps at one house location and 11Mbps at a second property location, then you have no come-back, because the seller leaves no link to contact them directly on Amazon. I have carried out troubleshooting by cleaning the sim card and putting it into a different older working router device, and testing again at two property locations. It still gives poor performance in both devices at both property locations. Now, this means that either I have 2 faulty routers, or alternatively, the sim card or network is defective. What do you think? My other 3 sim (from 3 - not from Scancom) in my other old router device has also been tested in my newer router, and this works fine, so this rules out my routers being at fault.Result: either the sim card is faulty, or the network used by Scancom had been throttled. I would opt for the latter.Scancom - any chance of you resolving this matter please? Thank you.

Great value
Great value! Used in a 5g router at home and I sim ply cannot fault it for my personal use. Stream TV and work from home with no lag experienced at all. I do live alone, so I'm not sure how it might fare with a larger household though (not tested)
