A person who used to work for me to spray WD40 on a sheet of paper as that works, I will say it does, but you have over spray with all sprays and that idea isn't bad if the shredder is outside. I saw this product when getting addition shredders for kids at college it is simple to use, not messy like a spray, and a good way to extend life of shredder. Give it a try next time you're ordering.

Although little could be done regarding the "spilled oil" that arrived at our business, I must add that the seller has now offered a full refund for the inconvenience of having the package coated in oil and the loss of about one-half bottle of oil. Their message was polite and they obviously care a great deal about their customers. Also, had the opportunity to use the oil on our new shredder... it's simply a matter of sprinkling oil dots in an "S" shape on a piece of paper, and then running that paper through the shredder. Extremely easy to handle and complete.

Works well and keeps the shredder lubricated. I gave it three stars only because the lid isn't tight and it is easy to spill the oil if you aren't careful. You must keep the bottle upright to avoid spills.

Needed this oil for my shredder. I put a few drops on a piece of paper and run it through my shredder and my shredder works like new. I would definitely recommend this for anyone using a shredder. I get a lot of sticky labels that come in the mail and shred them because my name and address are on them and using this oil has kept my shredder in top condition. I have the Simply Shred FHC307D Shredder, that this oil was recommended for, however, I am sure that this oil can be used on any shredder.

The company from which I bought my shredder - recommended this oil to me. Here are the things which I can say, in connection with this oil. I first bought another oil, but then I contacted the company which markets that another oil, and found out that that (another) oil can cause skin irritation, in repeated exposure. So, I returned that oil, and bought this one, made, as it is written, with sunflower seeds. The oil came very well packaged. It came in USPS Priority Mail mailing box, there were two small strong carton boxes inside mailing box, inside each of these carton boxes was a sealed plastic bag, and inside that plasic bag was plastic bottle with oil. I cut off the tip of the nozzle, and used oil, one time, to lubricate my shredder. There is a lid, to cover the nozzle after usage. They should have made that lid - longer. Otherwise, I do not see anything wrong with the bottle; the bottle is very comfortable to hold in hand. Well, 24 ounces of this oil cost me $14.48 (before tax). In a store here, in the city where I live, the price was $5.79 for 4 ounces of shredder oil Pacific.

I bought one bottle to use with our Simply Shred Shredder. The shredder is still going strong after more than a year; my family doesn't oil a page to be shredded and feed it through unless I remind them. The reason I only gave this 4 stars is because I have never used another brand of oil before on the shredder, so I really have nothing to compare it to. A little bit of this oil goes a long way and bottle is still 3/4 full! So, all in all, I use it as a "preventative" to keep my shredder working well.
