No more sore fingertips!
I have suffered on and off throughout the year with splits on my fingertips. My mother did so it may be hereditary but this started a few years ago in my 40s.Covering them with plasters is no good they wont heal. Using copious amounts of handcream & cotton gloves overnight doesnt really help - if theyre coming u can feel them starting & before u know it theres the split & boy are they painful for a good few days then they start to slowly heal only for others to appear on a different finger.I use my hands a lot - im a manual worker , so these splits cause an awful lot of pain & annoyance. In desperation I Googled the condition which is how i found this liquid bandage when looking at treatments .Omg if only id known earlier about it - it would have saved me an awful lot of pain & grief. It reminds me of nail glue a bit but its not as gluey.I just dab a tiny amount on the split being careful not to let it run wipe off the excess round it & in less than 10 seconds the split is covered. It stops being sore as well as protecting the cut.The split doesnt get it any worse either. This stuff is magic i just wish id found it years ago!Its supposed to last up to 5 days tho i re-apply it every day if im working to be on the safe side. This stuff is so good. U get 4 small sticks which is really handy i can leave one at work & the other 3 are........around somewhere not far away lol.I dont know if id use it on a normal cut or wound but to have this annoying problem finally dealt with is enough for me right now.

Very useful
I have problems with frequent splits in my fingers and thumbs adjacent to the nail. These are painful, are constantly being reopened and are very slow to heal. I tried many and various dressings that were all hopeless. They wouldn't stay in place due to the awkward location, or survive frequent hand and dish-washing. One application of this product did the trick. It stands up to use and to hand and dish washing. The splits are healing nicely.

Very helpful, but doesn't last long.
Well it does work, in the short-term. I cut my hand on a pair of scissors, just below the join where my first three fingers meet my palm. Not too deep, but needed sealing so it wouldn't keep reopening every time I moved my fingers. This stuff did bond the two sides of the cut together, without any stinging sensation. It took around 5-8 minutes to fully dry.The cut was essentially immobilised, and I found later on that the glue had kept a slightly moist skin environment underneath, which can promote faster healing. Once the glue was dry, I was able to wear a surgical glove on that hand to hygienically prepare meals, which I wouldn't have been able to do with a fabric bandage on.Unfortunately, the glue started to crack apart and flake off within two hours. I don't buy the '5 days' on the packet, at least not for a cut anywhere near a joint. I tried keeping my hand still, but the same thing happened. Washing my hands became a chore, because if there's any kind of lift anywhere along the edges, soap and water get underneath and the whole thing has to be removed and reapplied.I ended up having to patch up the job several times a day. I did find that using a thin layer works much better than a thick layer, and spreading the glue out very thinly either side of the cut (using the nozzle head) helps to prevent the edges peeling up.In summary, I'm glad to have this glue, and I will be using it again in future, but it doesn't quite live up to its claims.

Nice handy size.
Handy sized new skin. Had a larger bottle from USA, and wanted some more, but doesn’t seem available here. These seemed to get good reviews, and i agree they work well and a nice convenient size to carry. Easy to apply and reasonable value. Doesn’t peel off in normal use, and seals wounds well.

Applicator is very poor
The product works quite well for small lesions. It is essentially superglue! But the applicator is very poor. It may work the first couple of times but tends to either apply too much or too little, and quickly makes the end of the applicator very messy! Clearly you buy two tubes because you are likely to throw away one before it is half-empty!

Amazing, pain free second skin!!
I’ve bought similar named brand products in the past and they were excruciating to use on cuts and scrapes. It was like rubbing pure alcohol on the wound (probably because it was!). I only wish I discovered this item when my son was a toddler and constantly scraping his elbows and knees and fingers. This product is completely pain free when you apply it, I honestly don’t feel anything when applying! It dries in seconds and is completely waterproof so perfect for small cuts and scrapes on your hands and fingers. I wash my hands constantly and the product stays on my cut for days, protecting my wound and also allowing it to breathe and be flexible. The bottles are small so it won’t dry out before you use it all like other bigger bottles I’ve bought of similar products. The price is amazing as well! I bought 4 of these bottles and I haven’t even used half of the first bottle and I cut my fingers almost every other day!!! You only need a tiny amount, just enough to cover the exposed part of the wound and a very thin film, so a little goes a long way!Try it, especially for young children the pain free formula will be a Godsend!

Perfect for accident prone occupations!
One of my sons has a job that often leaves him with cuts and scrapes. This stuff is excellent! I got it after he managed to unglue a cut to his head that he’d had sorted at the hospital. It was a bank holiday weekend and he had a job to do so couldn’t spend hours in a&e again. This did the trick quickly and painlessly. I am medically trained so don’t go gluing stuff unless you have it checked first. It’s great for things like paper cuts that tend to sting. Any cut that you want to protect from splashes, it’s not going to stand up to a long time swimming for example but it’s ok in the rain. Or for trips camping etc where you may need to close a cut in an emergency. It’s handy to have a spare tube in the first aid kit just in case. Just to advise these are single use tubes (I hadn’t realised that and so ran out the first time I got some).
