Definite improvement over prior model...recharging is a bit more involved... but the possibility of using an extra batteryis a big plus.

For the price I paid, I expected a decent product that would make grooming easier. Unfortunately, this product failed to deliver.The machine keeps getting stuck, and the worst part is that it pulls my hair relentlessly. It's not only frustrating but also painful. I've tried to use it multiple times, thinking that maybe I was doing something wrong, but the results are always the same.Given the poor performance and the hassle it's caused me, I would not recommend this product to anyone. I about gave up on finding a workable back shaver, manual or power, but think I've landed on one that actually works pretty well. Probably since I hit about 50, I've tried to remove the sweater growing on my back. Getting someone to help was ... embarrassing ... and trying various purchased and home made options wasn't working. My first purchased solution was a power back shaver with an similar articulated arm like this one, but a much smaller head and frankly it didn't work. Couldn't cut the hair. I followed with two different tries with curved handle manual shavers which also did a lousy job. I didn't try anything the last couple of years, instead just keeping my shirt on at the beach most of the time, which was better for my skin anyway. But, after being enticed by a Mangroomer ad, I stated looking at the reviews for this back shaver and decided to take a chance. I like the interchangeable power unit and the wide shaving head. I started on the lower "Sensitive Speed" setting, thinking that would help with the heavier coverage. It seemed to work okay at first, which was positive. Hair was falling to the floor, but where I could see, it still didn't seem to be complete removal of all hair. That's when I switched to the "Power Burst" setting and had much better results removing most of my back hair. In spots where I could see it work (shoulders and backs of my upper arms) it worked great. I waited about a week before using again and that is when I really felt that it clean-up my entire back. I have not tried the small head (what for?), but I'm generally very satisfied with this shaver. It does take some practice and multiple passes in most areas, but it does get the job done. I did not experience any issues with hair pulls or skin pinches. I would recommend this shaver!

I was so skeptical of being able to shave my own back. I didn’t buy a back shaver for years. Oh boy was I wrong. This is easy to use and it works really well. I shaved my whole nasty hairy back in about five minutes and got almost every spot. Big win. I would pay twice the price for this thing.

Great product. Best for reaching back hair. Would highly recommend.

Very disappointed. Did not work at all. Didn’t cut any hairs on any part of the body. Replaced an older version that worked like a charm until battery died.

I had to replace an old unit where the battery eventually failed. This new one is easier to use since it seems more adjustable, lighter, and has a wider trimmer head.I don't like that I have to remove the battery to charge it. Would prefer there was a USB C port to charge it while still in the handle. I would give it 5 stars otherwise.Another improvement was it is much quieter than the previous model I had; almost half the noise.Also I noticed it seemed to pull the hair a little the first time while using it. That could be due to the length but otherwise it worked better than a previous model.
