My chickens like this grit. I mix it into a big container full of cracked corn and black soldier fly larvae. The hens seem happy and healthy, and this brand is known for high quality stuff.

I use this as a soil amendment and top dressing for my succulents-- a great economic option.

A need for lavender. This allows drainage in soil. Cactus soil and this does the job in Georgia. Don’t be stingy with it.

It came opened so that stinks. But other than it's grit, not too much to say. My girls didn't need it so I was refunded and I gave it to a local Farm for their new chicks.

As a long-term chicken keeper who now has to keep my birds enclosed due to predators like foxes and minks, all their needs must be considered. Chickens require grit to digest food, and since they are no longer free-ranging, where they consume little pebbles, I have to provide grit for them. Every couple of weeks, I sprinkle a handful of this grit in their pens and they consume what they need. Good product!
