Insulation Designs Cold Water Tank Jacket (50 Gallon Circular)

I've installed it around the cold water tank in the loft. Seems to work fine.

Worked really well and was really easy to install. Bit pricey for what it is and you may be able to get it cheaper elsewhere, but its well made and does the job its intended for so happy with purchase.

With hindsight I should probably have waited a week or two longer when I might have had the chance to visit a specialist store for this type of product because, whilst this offering might be effective (it hasn't been cold enough yet to know), first impressions (which are still with me several days after fitting it) were much along the lines of something resembling kitchen towel in a blue plastic liner, if a bit thicker. Everything about it, from the time of delivery (in a large cardboard box, incidentally) was just so lightweight that in the recent winds that we've just had, if the delivery driver had left it on the doorstep I'd probably still be looking for it today, several blocks+ away.From another angle, scaled down, it's a bit akin to sticking a plaster around your thumb; it's protective, but you feel it's hardly there.The yellow tying "cord" had about as much strength as a pair of butterfly wings (breaking, twice) but at least the blue duct tape showed good signs of firm adhesion.Here's hoping .......

Size ok need to leave it 24 hours before fixing.

Great product and good price. Easy to fit.

Comes very well packaged so looks too small, but opens out into great size and wraps well round the tank. A lot thinner than the previous one but much updated and good for purpose.

Kinda fits as advertised, cover is not round which doesn't help when product is sold for a round tank.
