A bit costly but the lights are good
This scooter does have some added flare and safely with the light being on more than just the wheels. In dim light it’s makes it quite visible. Good for a child to show off and good for cars to see.In terms of quality the scooter is pretty standard. It’s good and up to the task. It’s got quite a bit of weight to it, which is also normal, and it helps that the handles fold down as well to carry it when needed. When being used it glides well. Our son had no trouble with it at all. It’s nice that it will grow with him if the wheels last. The brake is good and doesn’t skid too easy but the wheel still wears like any other.Overall I think it’s a very good scooter that’s robust and well thought out. The price is higher than compared to getting just a scooter but the extra lighting might tip it in some people’s favour. We’re happy with it.

Good scooter with a couple of issues
Since ordering this scooter it’s actually dropped in price. That’s made me change my review from a three star to a four star as it’s a much more realistic amount for what you’re getting. It’s not a bad scooter by any means, and most kids will be over the moon with it as a gift. It’s got the solid nylon wheels that last forever and the bearings seem to be really substantial and they turn extremely easily. Obviously the motive power is your foot, but the quality of the bearings is what gives you a smoother and more effortless ride.It folds up quite small so if you prefer, like me, to take the grandchildren somewhere safer to ride then it doesn’t take up much space in the car. It’s reasonably adjustable, however the claim of up to 12 years of age is a little optimistic as the maximum height on the handlebars isn’t particularly generous. The light show is a nice touch and it’s easy to turn on and off using the button under the footplate. It’s a single button and you cycle through from off back to off via a few different lighting combinations. The brake is really the rear mudguard rather than a specific attachment. It’s a flexible piece of plastic and you just press down on it and let friction do the rest. That will probably be fine but if the rider is really going fast I think it’s quite quickly going to wear down. That would mean that once this happened you have no brakes. It’s a decent little piece of kit but it’s definitely at the younger / toy end of the scooter market. If it weren’t for the brake issue, I would probably have given it five stars: as it is the little plastic mudguard lets the whole thing down, as the rest of the scooter will outlive that part by years.

great scooter
The scooter feels sturdy and safe, supporting up to 50kg, which is great for growing kids. The deck is wide enough for a comfortable ride, and the lights on the stem and deck add extra fun. The light-up wheels are super fun and make the scooter look amazing, especially in the evening. The folding feature is a big plus, as it’s simple to store and transport when we’re on the go.
