Broken in shipping
So this tv was purchased for a bar. We ordered mid october. Its been im storage with no damage to the box until just this week when it wad put in for a sheduled upgrade. Opened the box and the panel was separated from the lcd frame and cracked. Of course its past return policy. Im sure its great tv when its not broken. The in-tact areas look great.

Poor viewing experience
This is not a great TV, contrary to what many online reviews are saying. I really wanted to like it as I have another Vizio television which, for the price, was surprisingly good nearly four years ago. This TV would be excellent if it weren’t for its terrible backlight local dimming system. The very limited quantity of local dimmers means the TV suffers from blooming quite severely. Additionally, the dimmers are slow to respond to changing images on screen making for a distracting viewing experience.

At this price it’s an incredibly good TV. In fact
I purchased the 65” M-series a week ago at Costco for $700. At this price it’s an incredibly good TV. In fact, I should give it 5 stars when taking into account the price. A similar quality LG, Sony, or Samsung would be $1200-1500.The remote works fine and so does the SmartCast app. Is the smart TV function as good as Roku? No it’s not but I think it will work well for people who wouldn’t normally have a Roku, ps4, appleTV, or xbox one.Things I don’t like:Motion blur during scenes where the camera pansPicture JudderBut, my wife doesn’t even know what I’m talking about when I mention it. According to Rtings.com you have to go into the $2000 plus TV price range to get TVs that eliminate this problem.Knowing all of this, I still chose this TV even though I had planned to go with the $2500 LG OLED when I went to Costco. $700 was too good to pass up though. This Tv is easily as good or better than the non premium 4K TVs out there.Of course, your Samsung QLEDs, LG OLEDs, and Sony X900E and X930E will all have better picture but none of them can even come close to this price point.

Vizios have no tuner built in
Picture is great but if you use an antenna to get free stations like we do than you are in trouble with this tv. It has no tuner built in to receive stations broadcast via antenna. If you use Direct TV or a cable company than it is fine but we use free air broadcast and then use the internet for movies and news like Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube etc. We had to buy a tuner to receive local channels via antenna and the remotes on these aftermarket tuners are terrible. It would be great if we could use the Vizio remote but the channel and volume buttons don't work at all on these model's remotes. So due to this you can't use the vizio remote to learn the tuner and use the vizio remote to control the tuner. We have two other 4k vizio tvs and they have tuners built in so no issues. Just a heads up so you won't be disappointed that you can't get free broadcast with this tv without buying an after market tuner. Amazon offers them here on line and they are low priced but it is the remote that is the main problem. Maybe you could get a universal remote to work both.

Seemed like a good deal at the time with descent reviews
Seemed like a good deal at the time with descent reviews. But like some others, Less than 3 months after purchase, the TV keeps shutting down for no rime or reason and on some occasions it locks up where no controls will work and work and a hard resent is required. There are plenty of equally priced and equally out fitted TVs to fill their void. I will avoid vizio for all future purchases. Sent techs to replace mother board and power supply (02/2018) so far so good. Problems seems to be fixed.

If money is tight and 65″ is the right size for you, the Vizio M65-E0 is well worth serious consideration.
The Vizio M65-E0 offers great performance, especially in terms of color, detail, shadow detail, HDR, and upscaling resolution and bit depth. It supports both HDR10 and Dolby Vision, which is a big plus in my book. Also, the Vizio SmartCast system with Chromecast built-in is comprehensive and well designed. This TV calibrates very well, though at its price, most buyers probably won’t spend several hundred dollars more on a professional calibration. Its SDR pre-cal measurements are pretty good, but HDR10 and Dolby Vision benefit greatly from a full calibration. My only significant complaint is the mediocre and uneven blacks, even in HDR mode with local dimming on. (When I turned local dimming off, the black level got significantly worse.) The measurements indicate a black level of 0.002 nit in HDR, which is very low, but on real-world content, it didn’t look that low at all.Of course, the blacks don’t matter as much when watched in ambient-light conditions, like a family room—which is how many people watch much of their content. In ambient light, blacks look much better than in total darkness. However, you can’t perceive the full extent of HDR in that environment, either. On the high side, a peak brightness of 850 nits in HDR mode is very good—not quite enough to meet the UHD Alliance Premium specification, but close. And HDR imagery looks very bright in its peaks, much brighter—and more colourful—than SDR.All in all, the Vizio M65-E0 upholds the company’s reputation for high-value flat-panel TVs.

Finally got it.
Had this tv now for approximately a year. We originally ordered this product about three weeks before Christmas with an estimated arrival date of December 22. However it didn’t actually arrive till the middle of January. Had to have it replaced after 3 months as it stopped working one day while we were watching tv on it. Warranty originally tried to repair it but the part they replaced didn’t fix the tv, so they shipped a new one. They actually had a gentleman bring it in and set it all up for us, including unboxing and reboxing the old one. Fingers crossed it’s still working awesome. Overall we’re very happy with it.

Good TV in the lower price / LED category
After having a plasma TV for close to 10 years moving to an LED TV at first seemed like a bit of a downgrade. If an OLED TV is out of your price range this TV is a good option.I like the Smartcast feature which allows me to turn on the TV from the Vzio app or the Cloudcast button on most apps. The remote control looks cheap but I do like having the dedicated Netflix and Amazon buttons on the remote control.

Great TV!
Excellent clear picture, tons of features. My son the IT guy helped me set it up and we are very pleased. The one drawback I noticed is that if you get off to much more than a 45 degree angle, you lose some clarity. Other than that. no problems.
