This is a great sherried whisky
An Indian whisky from the Goa region, which matures very quickly in the barrel because of the higher temperatures in the region. Nose: surprising- like Kavalan (Taiwan) or Hibiki (Japan), with sweet cereal, fresh grassy or straw aromas- oak, aftershave, honeysuckle, cocoa underneath. The taste- a speyside-like whisky (glenmorangie etc) but with a difference I associate with japanese whiskies- some toffee apple, grass and fern, bit of alcoholic fire, but not by much. Bitter orange. Medium long finish, gentle sherry and wood, musty feinty at the end.At £34 not bad value at all. Perhaps not quite as good as an Arran 10 at the same price point, but nearly.

India's answer to Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Very fruity and intense, at 46abv. Non-peated, thankfully.I still wasn't expecting Indian single malt to be this good! Will be buying it again, when i get the chance.

OK but not Scotch
Flavour is OK, price is good but just does not taste like a true malt whisky. I will stick to Scotch as no other whiskies quite taste the same, in my opinion.

My first Indian whisky - not disappointed.
I saw a positive review of this on YouTube and as I never had an Indian whisky, I thought this would be worth a go. I was not disappointed, and found it to be exactly as the video and the reviews said - fruity, sweet, spicy and a decent finish. I can't see this lasting too long, and it will be replaced by the another of the same.

Good but I've had better Indian malts
This malt whisky from Goa is smooth and enjoyable after a meal or when reading in the evening. It lacks the depth of flavour I've experienced with other Indian malts, however, and certainly in comparison with my favourite Scottish malts. That said, it's a matter of taste, of course, and others may find this more to their liking.
