Not solid wood, had to fix scratches with black paint

All screw heads are exposed !
Instructions:1. Some screws were labeled wrong.2. Instructions far from clear.3. There was a few dowel pins that I couldn’t find where to use them. (Not in instructions)4. Screw too long for handle.5. All screw heads are exposed6. Made out of compressed wood coated black.Overall for the money, “GARBAGE” Im keeping mine because I dont want to take it back apart to return and I need one.
