I LOVE IT! I bought this set to specifically drink with the oolong tea I had imported for Taiwan. It just did not make sense to prepare and drink Chinese tea the American way. HA! I am NEVER going back! matter-of-fact I am going to purchase another set in blue for my eldest son who is studying Japanese. I told him it is imperative that he take a class on the Japanese Tea Ceremony!

Color is as show in the picture, very nice. However, more cons than pros:- It holds only 27 oz, filled to the max.- The handle that lifts the lid doesn’t fit and therefore it doesn’t hold the lid when it’s hot. See pic- The edge has a leftover piece that it’s very sharp, defected from their molding process and no quality control. I was really excited to have it and not it’s so disappointing. See picI changed the rating because the seller addressed the matter and seem genuine to remedy this issue.

I adore this tea set! I love making homemade sweet tea and this cast iron set makes really yummy tea. There's something about about the cast iron that makes food and drinks so good. The color of this set is pretty too. It comes with four matching cups, a lid, something to sit it on, and a lifter. It's a beautiful set and it makes a really nice gift too. I love it!

I wish you could all have been there when I was opening this package up. The family was going crazy with how nice this tea set looks and feels.This is a truly lovely tea set but it does have a few minor flaws. To start, the pictured teapot comes with a wicker wrapped handle, mine did not. The handle is bare but that's really not a big issue as I can wrap my own handle onto this teapot later.along with the bare handle, there are a few defects I've found in my set. One of the tea cups has a thinner than normal/non-uniform lip around its rim. I only noticed it after feeling the difference of thickness with my lips. Again not a big issue but quality control may need to be increased.The teapot itself is ceramic lined so you wont have to worry about the internals rusting.I belive you could directly heat this teapot but I've been preparing my water first then pouring it over my tea leaves to steep. I'll try this teapot with a hot plate soon to see how the experience is.I really enjoy this tea set and honestly find it very beautiful even to just look at. My sister guessed that this would have cost at least $80 so she was surprised when she did hear the price. So far, I highly recommend this teapot. It makes for a wonderful display piece and it also makes great tea. Some nonuniformity issues are the only things holding it back from being near perfect. I hope they can get tat worked out in the future.
