Q: Can you use this for Area 51? And if so can you use 2 at a time?

While you can't use it on Area 51 for PS1 you can use it for Area 51 on MAME on PC. It's pretty tricky installing drivers on Windows 10 though you have to disable driver recenforcement.

Q: Can I use it like a mouse cursor, meaning point and shoot instead of having to point snd click in PC games?

this EMS gun , will only work with the capcon games like the first person shooter game from capcon , for example i brought the game fro capcon called Dino stalker and i have about 4 other games which this gun will work with ,and these games are from capcon , on the instructions that come with the EMS Top Gun , it will tell you what type of games you can use it with , let me tell you there are not that i thick about 7 or 8 if you can find them one is called Dino stalker which you can get in PS2 , Xbox and so on ...i know with the Capcon game this gun will work with them BUT do not forget this EMS Top Gun is designed for the first person shoot type games , it is just trial and error .....hope this some help ....i my self have about 3 of these guns that still work well , i did buy about 7 of them about 8 years ago but did not work after some time but still have three still working .... if you do stop using these EMS Guns , make sure you take the batteries out when you are not using them other wise the battery can leak and destroy the gum... i have found out the hard way Regards , Wayne Sharratt AUSTRALIA
