NFL Electric Football Standard Game

Delivered from manufacture as promised with prompt delivery. My son absolutely loves loves this game! The instructions are super thorough and explain so much about the game and football itself, I was very impressed! Great quality!

The media could not be loaded. Many reviews claim these "dont work like they used to." That is incorrect. The bases will need tweaking to work properly. Right out of the box, the players wont go anywhere. One youtube search will have you on your way. The new invisibases are great. Much easier to tweak than the older bases. Which are still available btw from tudor games. The video i attached is after 2 min of tweaking a strong invisibase.

Trying to put some balance in my kids lives I pulled a Tudor set from the seventies from the attic and was just going to buy some fill in pieces on E-bay for it. Turns out this was the cheaper way to go and so much more fun to play on. It's obvious there is still some sharp minds over at Tudor games as the upgrades are very well thought out. We only use the old set for the playoffs to increase the difficulty.

To give you an idea, the frame is plastic which is easily warpable (if that's a word) and the field area is only a thin vinyl sheet held by the frame. The controller is very cheap feeling and the knob to make the board vibrate more or less is very cheap. Since the field is a vinyl sheet they make you attach with tape a black square that supposedly makes the entire field vibrate equally..which is a joke. I tested the players that came with the game as well as the teams that we purchased (Cowboys and Panthers) and none would run straight or in any direction more than six or seven yards. The players all have a flat base that doesn't work well with making the players move in any direction. I have had other models over the years and I would highly encourage anyone to skip this purchase or if your dead set on buying it do not expect much and definitely do not spend even more money (like I did) on the additional teams. It was our one fail at Christmas and I only wished I could get my money back on it.

This electric football game is ok, but seems a bit more of a complex setup than the very old version that performs the same. They didn't include any of the little felt footballs but only a pattern that appeared to have had the footballs already removed. This version has lots of nifty stickers to represent your favorite NFL teams with field / endzone decals, but again it only performs as well as the old one from maybe late 60s, early 70s. So look for the lowest price.

this gift to my husband was just for the purpose of having old memories retrieved . as a child he played this w/his father and they loved it . He was very happy to get this so he could add it to his game room .It will never be opened out of the box .just for show .

my son who is 40 always wanted one of those games but seemed like he had huge list at Christmas time so never got one... now I got one for him and his son.... course it's a big thing on who gets to be the Bears.... worth the money... hours of fun...
