This altar shelf is detailed very nicely. It is easy to put together, nothing broke or cracked.I did read that it was manufactured wood, but was unsure of the finish. It is a little difficult for me visually in that way. It actually looks very much like the photo, which is quite orange. The grain pattern is pretty good. It's also shiny. Overall, it looks nothing like real wood. I haven't hung it yet because of these reservations. I really think the only solution for me is to paint it. Which, considering the price, causes me to hesitate to reccomend this shelf. It is true to the description. It just doesn't suit my taste, particularly for its intended purpose.

This wooden temple is a great addition to my office where I work as a spiritual healer. I am limited on space and have quite a few items that I'd like to display still. This wood shelf is a beautifully designed sturdy construction, engineered for both wall mounting and placement on flat surfaces. The temple comes in 4 pieces that easily fit together without any tools. It can be assembled in minutes. Although light in weight, the wood is thin but solid. The glossy finish adds an elegant touch and provides an extra layer of protection. When placed on a flat surface, it sits evenly and is supported with a wood base, elevating it slightly. Another standout feature is the intricate carving of the Om symbol. The craftsmanship that went into this construct is revealed with perfect precision and it really sets the stage to showcase spiritual items that can add to any space whether it be a prayer room, entrance hallway or placed in a meditation area, to create a serene and focused environment. A reservation I have is the length of the base. The base is compact and has limited storage capacity. Overall, this purchase is beautiful and made well but is a bit steep in the asking price.
