It's a powerhouse processor with lower power consumption. I am very satisfied with it.
I've read a lot of tests in online PC magazines and watched youtube channels about desktop processors. I didn't understand the testers, why a high end CPU should be tested in 720p and 1080p resolution for gaming when we are already playing in at least 4K resolution in such a category (2025). I've been playing only in 4K for several years now, of course that requires a good powerful GPU. Now I've paired an Nvidia RTX 5080 graphics card with Intel's core Ultra 285K processor and have had a very good experience. They work fantastic with 4K games like Microsoft flight simulator 2020 (70-150fps) or Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition (170-190fps) they all run wonderfully with this configuration. I also use it for video editing and content creation. I am a mixed user which is why I chose this one. Not to mention the AI neural chip that comes with the processor. I will now use it for video editing software I can confidently recommend this processor to discerning users who can afford to spend enough money to buy a good motherboard and a good fast memory to go with it. By the way it comes with 24 cores raw. I would also mention its low power consumption. I hope I was able to help you a bit in your decision.
