From our home in Norway, Helly Hansen has been making professional grade gear to help people stay and feel alive for more than 140 years. It all started in 1877 when sea captain Helly Juell Hansen found a better way to stay protected from the harsh Norwegian elements. Soon thereafter, Captain Hansen and his wife Margrethe launched a business producing waterproof oilskin jackets, trousers, sou’westers and tarpaulins made from coarse linen soaked in linseed oil – and the legend was born!

Keeps you warm
Great base layer. I wear it under a sweater and my ski jacket. Plenty warm and helps wick away any sweat. HH makes really good gear. Highly recommend this product.

Best base layer I’ve ever had
Would recommend to anyone. On the coldest days I was still comfortable. And on the warmest, the moisture wicking was no joke.

Color not my favorite
It does it’s job great but there is room for improvement. The gray color makes it look old and used but it is new. Also if it had a thumb hole it would be the best base layer for outdoor activities ever.

Great Shirt, Over-Priced!!!
A Great shirt, but was overpriced,,,, honestly I’d expect to pay $50-60 for a shirt like this.

For $100 shirt this is garbage
After two wears this shirt now has holes in the sides of the seams. For $100 this shirt should hold up to much more wear and tear- return window closed so I can’t even get a new one. Shameful

Nice so far a tad itchy but definitely nice for wicking sweat
Like the color (orange), fit is good - a bit loose - it does wrinkle a bit. Overall happy with it.
